I really enjoyed your video. I'm a novice beginner and really need a mill cutter sharpening device. I really can't afford one of the commercial binders. Would you consider making and selling me one? Thanks for a great video showing your innovation. Tampa, Florida
Hi Ron Thanks for your interest but sorry I think you would be wasting your money. The grinder is made up of commercially available components:- a bench grinder an X,Y table a Myford milling slide, and an ER32 straight shank collet holder this lot would cost at least £300 you can buy a lot of cutters for that, and you don't blunt them up that often especially in a beginner's home workshop. I put the grinder together as a design exercise as I was interested to see if the idea would work. If you still want to have a go yourself I can send you the drawings for the ER 32 end mill grinding attachment. Cheers Stew

Fine video BUT. If you have that much vibration, the stone should be balanced. It's very DANGEROUS to grind with a stone producing that much vibration.
Very nice - I built the Philip Duclos version, but like your idea of using a commercial collet holder better.
Do you have plans? I would love to build one. You did a great job.
