Planet Hulk is one of my favorite Hulk stories. The face is definitely inspired by Mark Ruffalo. Great sculpture.

It was clever how they hide the neck seam. It's too bad about the seam on the tentacle. It kinda sticks out like a sore...tentacle.

How did you display the two together? I got the same statues and I'm having trouble finding anything that's big enough to display Gladiator Hulk in. I bought two fabrikors from ikea thinking that would work but the depth is 5 inches too deep.
@@justinthemovienerd3845 I took his back small tentacle out to fit him nicely, otherwise he sticks out too much. Also you don't even notice you've removed it.

Incredible! I only buy dynamic pieces and this was a must have Hulk for me. Only knock against the piece is the tentacle seem, but being a lesser known alien it can be overlooked as a deep crease in its anatomy. Can’t wait. Mine arrives Monday.

xm transformation hulk or this one, hard to choose
Hey Gem, you should try to get into model painting. Doing so will really make you appreciate just how special these pieces are. As a modeler and painter, these paint jobs are really amazing.

I love the shoulder armor on Hulk, it looks like an actual metal that's been hammered in to shape. Don't know what your situation is but I would def start moving towards the more expensive pieces, the detail and intricacy alone make it worth it.

Such an amazing piece! All the detail and textures and shadings that goes on with it is just awesome! I will say I do prefer the portrait with the helmet on.

Great Critique, I know there’s never enough time, but we don’t always come back to the bad seams or how you might want to fix dramas with pieces like the tentacles (like some of your other unboxings).
If you had to pick between this Gladiator Hulk maquette or the Juggernaut maquette which would you pick and why?
hulk has more detail...but jugg goes with x-men...it would depend on what i was collecting
@@GemMintCollectibles I am having trouble figuring out what to display hulk in. I got him and the Sideshow Thor and want to display them facing each other Any recommendations? Sideshow mistakenly has the depth of the statue at 18 in so it doesn't work for the two display cases that I bought for each statue.

Gladiator Hulk is my favorite version of Hulk. I also like Maestro Hulk. You can't go wrong with classic Hulk ether. Red Hulk! 😂👍
Hulk is my all time favorite super hero, but I have yet to find a piece of him that I'm ready to buy. The only one that I have is the Green Scar vs Silver Savage diorama, which imo the only sculp that truly captured planet hulk. Even this one, everything is awesome about it but the face. I don't recall seeing a design like that the entire planet hulk run... it doesn't feel right for me. My dream would be having a statue made from the design of Paul Pelletier, imo the best hulk design ever. Maybe one day.

a maquette is what sideshow calls these type of larger states with my of an intricate base. They also have premium format which are still 1/4 scale like this...but not as large or as expensive. www.sideshowtoy.com
