This is the third time he's fielded an experimental team, we've been beaten all three times, the fans know that as well as he does, why is he pretending it was a surprise? Fans were saying this as soon as the line up was announced.
It was a cup tie for gods sake, against a team who had already removed league sides. City should have played their strongest side and treated the match as if it was a normal nat league match.
I'm not happy with the performance or the result, that being said..... Could be a blessing in disguise, gives us the ability to fully focus on automatic promotion back to the Football League which could transform the future of York City FC!
Lets hear no more about the strength in depth of our squad. Those fringe/squad players were proven to be simply not good enough today. AH is 100% to blame, he selected the team. A Sunday League team would be embarrassed by that performance, The players should refund the fans expenses, this was on a par with Altrincham away last season
It's the FA trophy and every chance a blessing in disguise. What a shame we've spent so long in non league that losing this pretend tinpot cup can provoke such a reaction. Watching Rusk etc al. represent us at Wembley should have been lesson enough that this isn't where it's at.

Over the top
@@tomh3675 i'd love to see some stats over the years to see where bombing out of the FA trophy has guaranteed a club promotion.
