Hi , did you machine stitch the net part of the dress only to the jersey fabric? Did you also have to hand sew the beaded portion of the dress to the jersey fabric as well?
Hello, I didn’t only machine stitch the net part of the dress to the jersey fabric, I also hand stitched both of them at first. The hand stitching was the first step before the machine stitching. Hand stitching helped to hold both fabrics together, so one wouldn’t stretch more than the other(Using a machine a machine will lead to that error).
Nice video, however, the title was misleading if I was really hoping to find a tutorial on how to do the image which you posted. Also this was not a tutorial, more like a reel, shows you starting and then boom the dress on the customer. Please when making a "how to" try to stick with showing the actual steps.
Thank you, but I don’t quite agree with you regarding a misleading title. The title is exactly what it is. “How to make a beaded panel dress”. If you know what a beaded paneled fabric is(which I explained in the video), then you will understand that this video didn’t need much explaining. It was brief and straight to the point. I guess the picture in the thumbnail was not what you were expecting, but that is also an example of a paneled dress. Lastly, this video isn’t like a reel, reels are 60mins long, this video is over 6mins long. I hope you aren’t a beginner because only advanced sewers/designers can totally grasp the steps in this video.
So lovely.
Thank you!

I agree. This design was much different than the one pictured. Very misleading
That music was really distracting
