As of spring 2020, you are allowed to link with one person :)

If you do the DCP, will you have to do an extra semester of college? I want to do it SO BAD but I also want to plan out how much Disney and how much College I will be doing :3
I really want to do the dcp but I can't do it during my time in college and I will o my have one chance to apply before I'm put of the range of when you can apply. Any advice?
How do you handle having your schedule change so much from day to day during the dcp?

What if you have young kids (4,6)? Would they work with you on a schedule to make sure you can tend to your child’s needs? :)
hey bron! had a quick dcp question. does the disney college program give you any tickets free? for any friends or family

Yes! You can earn up to a total of 9 parkhopper tickets I believe. Some correct me if I'm wrong but
150 hours worked: 3 Tickets
300 hours worked: 6 Tickets
600 hours worked: 9 Tickets
You also get one ticket for finishing traditions so in all you get 10 tickets.
You can also buy tickets for friends/family with a cast member discount :)
I am 17 and attend a technical highschool as well as duall enrolled, can i still apply?
Stupid random question but I've always wondered...when your shift is over and you're visiting the park, do you still have to wait in the hour-long lineups? Or do you get a sort of fast-pass and cut through the lines?
You are a normal guest so you can make fast passes as normal guests do :)
Rita you can use fast passes but just make sure you enter the park through the touch points like a regular guest!
When you are not working, you are a normal guest

Hi Bron! I have always wanted to do the Disney college program and recently I have thought about my role being at the animation experience. I have drawn my whole life and always wanted be an animator. I was wondering what category this fell under? I googled the CP roles and I just didn’t know what this role would be under or if it is even offered to CP’s.
Animation is not part of the dcp (dcp is mainly for park/resort roles) Maybe a professional internship has animation?
Ellie Kennedy, the animation experience is a newer thing at the Disney parks. Guest come and a cast member teaches them how to draw characters. I know at animal kingdom they teach guest how to draw Lion King characters. I was wondering if this “attraction” at Walt Disney World is offered to CP’s.
Taylor Lee Young I’ve done this attraction a lot and never seen a CP be the one drawing, but I have seen CPs manning the queue. I would think there’s a difference between the Disney artists who draw and those who work in attractions. Most of the artists I met had been working at Disney in some art capacity for over 5-10 years.
Hi! dcp alum here! The animators themselves who teach the drawing are full time employees, not CPs. You can work there handling guests through the attractions role (however, you are not able to request a specific location to work at when you apply)
Are recent grad students still eligible if they submit their application within 12 months of graduating from grad school? Thanks for these videos!
Yes grad students are eligible! I am graduating from grad school in August and I got accepted for fall 2020 :)

You can, but it really depends on your role/college. It can get really busy at times and you may not want to do both at the same time, but it really all depends.
Hi! I'm a dcp alum! Adding onto Ellie, I was definitely super busy with work (you work full time, 40+ hours per week). When I had time off I was tired and just wanted to do fun stuff, definitely didn't want to be doing school work 😂 But you know yourself! If you work at school normally then maybe you can handle it!
i was wondering if there’s a guaranteed way to get a certain amount of roommates and if you can choose them? i have health issues and i won’t be able to live with just anyone.

most roles work with kids! childrens activities and bibbidi bobbidi boutique are probably the two with the most interaction though

sorry if im asking something you already answered but i find opening/closing dates rly confusing, if i graduate july 2021 and want to do the dcp the summer after i graduate when would the dates open for me to apply?
They don’t do programs in the summer unless it’s for Alumni or Fall Advantage, but you would want to apply in Early 2021 when the Fall and Fall Adv applications open.
if you dont graduate until july it would be the fall program starting in august/september. the application for that will come out in late january

Do you think your amount of work experience/lack of work experience plays a part in you getting accepted into the program?
Hi! I'm a dcp alum :) I'm not a recruiter so this is just my opinion lol. In any job application your experience will play some part in your acceptance (including volunteer experience) but it is just a part, not all of it. The most important thing is that you have a way to show Disney that you have practiced their values and can possibly interact with guest well. A great way to show this is through any kind of experience you have. The specific types of experience or the amount of experience you have is less important.
@@TheAardvarkPanda I have a lot of volunteer experience and little actual job experience and what I do have is all within the same area. I was just concerned because my actual job experience is very small. Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it!
