@@hectorlopez1069 yes I do agree with you. It certainly is a wonderful thing they did by making and putting that statue there in remembrance of the first Rambo movie.
Thanks for the comment about my video of Hope BC and Rambo movie. It's nice to know that you lived there in the past and have many happy memories of when you did.
@cariboojohn hi , didn't want to, but my husband at the time wanted to check out Saskatchewan, and so being a good wife I reluctantly followed,I loved it there, and I hope you do to ,
Thanks Wolfie66, for the comment on my video, I appreciate it! Yeah it was my first time there in my life, and I was only passing through on that day, but the little that I saw of that town was beautiful. I hope to go back there again someday to visit again, and this time stay for longer to explore some of the places in the woods where the movie was filmed.
Freedom. 😂 A Mexican with a 'green card' living in America talking about 'freedom' You don't know what freedom is son. Stay in your lalaland frame of thought. Good luck with your......Freedom. LOL.
Back there, I can fly a gunship and million dollar equipment but back here, I can't even find a job...PARKING CAAAARS!! 'throws gun furiously' - One of the much more solemn lines
Getting strong Paleto Bay vibes from this town and scenery, and straight to the point, I recently realized that the bank job there had to have been inspired by this movie, as well as the North Hollywood shootout. Like Rambo, you first fight the police before the military is called in. The only prep mission involved stealing a military truck carrying the guns and armor, which Rambo did as well. With all that in mind, I think I like that heist even more. Quite a great return to form because the Army comes after you, and there's actually an explanation for it.
I was so disappointed to find out they tore down the “Rambo” bridge. You think if the town is proud enough to erect a Rambo statue, it’d make a point of keeping the bridge!
I love this movie. Wish you would've explored a little bit more though. If i ever visit Hope BC. I would definitely try to go to key places in the movie. Like where that old truck is? The one in the woods where Rambo finds the tarp for a coat. " He still has it btw. It's enshrined in a glass case.👍

Enough nature within a 100 km radius to last many summers or even a lifetime if that is what you want. I lived there for a few years. Generally it was a great place 1970-2000. Only thing that has changed in this video is that typical west coast millenial kid on the bike.
Dude... it''s amazing!! Could you put the link to the film with the minutes and seconds that contain exactly the final part where the same take of the street appears the hotel with 2 floors in the background and the "Shopping Plaza" sign that is still the same as in the film, because there are a lot of people who have no idea what you are talking about and what it means.

What a beautiful town with the mountains and forest in the background, yet so close.
Makes me want to move there from Australia.

Looks like a peaceful and comfortable city ❤
I was at this tour last week!! It was amazing!
That's great you visited that place last week, too, that's nice to know.
beautyful video. thank you
All he wanted was something to eat.
And got hassled by the cops. The man was peaceful, didn't hurt anyone or anything until they hustled him out of town for no good apparent reason.
Great sharing the place haven't changed its good keeping it ❤

U r right..I too feel bad when towns change
wow thanks so much for this bring back memories as a kid i was 10 , looks like rambo could come round the corner anytime, new sub🙏
Fantastic
The Rambo statue should be up front & center. The movie is putting this town on the map!!!
Good art work by talent people.
Yes, I certainly agree with you it is wonderful art work indeed and so lovely to see.
There are lots of these carvings around town mostly of wild animals, all done by chainsaw artists as the timber industry is huge in BC.
My favorite movie
Interesting movie

I wonder why these beautiful cities, look like they are abandoned🤔
Yeah, I know what you mean, but this video was taken late in the evening, and there weren't many people out and about at the time.
It is a typical small town in BC. Town centers get quiet in the evening. Summers can be busy with tourists.
