So if crime is down, why was I told just a couple months ago the guy that broke into my business would never be prosecuted even though caught in my building with company items worth over $15,000 and on probation with drugs on his possession. I was told the prosecutors office was a year behind or more on prosecutions if they even ever happen. I was also told unless it was a violent encounter with the robbery and someone was physically hurt. No one would ever be prosecuted. So how is this stopping crime? This man was caught in the act by my cameras and arrested in the building. Somebody help me understand.

I'm heartbroken to hear about your terrible experience, and the injustice that is following Hawaii's terrible leadership and corruption. You should look into testifying against bills that are soft on crime and share your testimony during the hearings for those bills at the Hawaii Capitol. 🙏 Let me know if you have any questions on doing so-- you can even submit a testimony online.

I think the residence in that area expected the homeless to just stay in the park and not eventually encroach into their community and cause such heinous crimes. my advice to residents in that area is to be vigilant and always keep your head up. I walk every morning in my area near Moanalua, there are many senior citizens that walk at the hour I go walking and one common thing I see is they are always looking down at the ground. I know they want to watch their step to not fall, but they do not realize they are easy targets because they do not recognize their surroundings. that is just one example I see of easy victims. but we all know that the person with their head down staring into their smartphone is the easiest target. always be aware who is following you and make eye contact with people who approach you. so many people now days will not make eye contact with people which if you need to later give a description of your assailant you can give a more accurate description.

Crime is not down. Truth of the matter is that a lot of stores/businesses tell there employees not to stop shoplifters and just let them steal it without even reporting it to HPD. Just literally 1 day ago which was yesterday I witnessed for the second time this year in which someone just stole items while the cashier just watched and when I asked she said we cant do anything. In the mainland a lot of stores are closing because of to much theft. If this does not stop in Hawaii a lot of stores will start closing down.

I am not in liberty to admit, the most painful loss of our loved ones that it seems like my heart is in million pieces. We know that there will always be a special tender place in our memory for our loved ones, and the legacy of their influence will remain as long as we live. I don't know what happened to Hawaii's law enforcement. the title is there, but the enforcement is severely lacking.

Incongruency in rhetoric versus patterns of outcome, behavior, policy causes discord in trust, rapport, alliance, cooperation. Digital documentation offers the public the capacity to finally piece together trends (even in its faulty biases0. In perpetuity, brah. Public trust and societal cooperation comes in the matching of what is said versus what is seen on a comprehensive capacity. Reconcile the cognitive dissonance in perception and perspective.
