- Nom Jeal or basket steamed cake is a Cambodian traditional dessert or snack. It is sweet and chewy. It is best to serve with tea.
Ingredients:
4 cups [585g] Glutinous rice flour (if you need a medium soft of cake, please use 3 cups of glutinous rice flour and 1 cup of rice flour)
1 cup [255ml] Coconut milk
1 cup [255ml] Water
1 cup [360g] Palm sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
5 Pandan Leaves
1 Tablespoon black sesame seeds
Banana leaves
