When they drafted Stingley I had great hopes that it meant they'd be playing more press man. It's his strength and he's one of the best at it. Maybe he has to learn zone and become comfortable with it. Or maybe the coaches think so anyway. One thing for sure, if Stingley does become in zone what he is in press he'll be THE shut down corner in this league.
