Wow, I loved all the lemon-y ideas! Back in the fall, I made some of your faux apple pies and they came out so cute! I gave some to my mom and sisters! :) The only thing that I did differently was instead of making the muslin a 1/2 inch wide, I made it one inch, folded it lengthwise, and twisted it as I glued it around the edge of the pie dish. It looked so realistic! I bought a bunch of mini pie ceramic/glass pans at the dollar tree :) Thank you so much for sharing! :)

Hi Lori! I’m using a Ryobi hot glue gun and Ryobi glue sticks. I just got this glue gun. Previously I was using a Surebonder glue gun and their brand glue sticks and I never have a problem with the glue sticking. Make sure you aren’t using a low temp glue gun but I still don’t think that would be a problem from having the fabric stick. The first 2 no sew lemons I show before I make them I actually made a year ago and they’re still holding up and no problems with the fabric coming apart. A fabric glue would work as well. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help!

On the wooden Mason jars I just remove the paper. That works well for me.
