Wow, this is the second time I listened to this not realizing I heard it before. My response this time is similar, I am amazed at Gods faithfulness while also feeling the pain of the wounds of the enemies lies sown into my life through mostly christians. This time the pain is now totally gone-by my choice I now end this 9yr healing process and walk into new 'lands' of destiny!

I realize I've been walking in the gift of discernment. My flesh doesn't want to go back to church at all, but my Spirit knows I should humble myself and not take offense when offended, this is just one more of many confirmations, LOL!
Why do you not want to go to church? Sounds like you've been going to the wrong church. There is a church for you out there. God works through a corporate annointing. If you are constantly offended then maybe you need to be a church where you can grow. Some churches aren't really teaching the word of grace.

It's good to give people hope. But when I pray why doesn't God answer my prayers?????? Delayed hope turns into bitterness. Why won't God help me in my times of need???
I hope you stayed strong, There are few example in bible when God did not answer to prayers, at least until His chosen time. Sometimes He want to teach us to be strong in faith in any situation, such as what happen to Job. He lost everything, his children and wife and friends. In the end he become wiser and stronger in faith, and loving God more than ever. God promised son to Abraham, but fulfilled it years later until Abraham is more than hundreds year old. God annointed David to be king, but allow him to wander in desert being hunted by Saul. God promised to lift Joseph up among his brother, but not only delayed it, but also let him spent 13 years of his teenager life in jail. For each of suffering that God allow to happen in our life, God has different purpose. But in the end He plan for something good out of it. It is always difficult. I pray that you can stay strong.
Plus it's God understanding, not ours. We all want God to help us but he has a way of working. Focus in the spirit and not the flesh. Pray for guidance, let go and let God. Things always turn around for the better. Plus don't have faith by site, by how things bad are, focus on just believing. 😇😇😇

Come on man, God needs that belief INSIDE the church. Let them criticize but don’t let them hurt your heart. Jesus didn’t call us to leave the church, he called us to be the church. It sounds like you probably have more knowledge on true theology compared to the average church goer. Just make sure you have love to go along with it!
Isn't saying limiting the Holy Spirit by unbelief and the we should not do it is by it's very admission limiting the Holy Spirit by putting the agency on our own belief? Doesn't compute.

About 70-80% of attendees will even go as far hitting the 'going' button to indicate that they will definitely be at the service/event. All Shawn has to do, is write down beforehand some "amazing facts" from people's social media accounts (birthdays, places of birth, anniversaries, pet names, significant events - i.e. child dying, or name of business etc etc. All of this information is readily available with a few clicks. Once you realise what he does, it's very sad and dishonouring to the church. I had never heard of this guy, until he came and done his trick at a conference in the U.K. I was at (Rivercamp). As soon as he started spouting off the "This might mean something to someone" the Holy Spirit immediately witnessed to me that it was bogus, and I kept the matter in mind for later on. How I see if someone is speaking from the Lord or not is I put the same words in Jesus’ mouth and see if it’s what He would say. First off, Jesus wouldn’t dishonor someone’s name He gave them. Second, Jesus doesn’t go around looking for something wrong with people. You’re not hearing the Holy Spirit. You’re hearing your ego.
A story about a pastor who buys a $3.13 million dollar home, with almost $31,000 in tax per year. He knows many people who cannot buy homes but somehow he found financing to do so. Not really a miracle, just a guy who got financing for an expensive house.

How I see if someone is speaking from the Lord or not is I put the same words in Jesus’ mouth and see if it’s what He would say. First off, Jesus wouldn’t dishonor someone’s name He gave them. Second, Jesus doesn’t go around looking for something wrong with people. You’re not hearing the Holy Spirit. You’re hearing your ego.
