Last month exchanged my santro xing gls for i20 asta.... It was a fab car. Had a roadtrip from Raipur to agra, prayagraj, banaras, ambikapur and got no complaints with its performance.

Man exact same thing happened with me. My uncle passed away in Covid. He had a Santro Xing from 2007, it got scrapped last year. In his memory we got another Santro Xing 2014 (last possible model). Btw he switched to Honda City and later to Seltos. He gave his Santro to me. My entire current family generation learned to drive on this.

Update guys we still own the santro and the reliability of that car made by dad chose a Tucson as our new primary car. We still use our santro for intercity commutes
The one thing i didn't like is that when they launched the Santro xing facelift in 2010, they deleted features such as front fog lamps, rear wiper and defogger etc. Owner of a Santro xing since 2011 and have loved the journey so far. I have bought the Honda wr v but I am not selling the Santro because I have a special bond with that car.
