This is my favourite comedy show ever. The thing is that every clip in this compilation are just build ups to even more jokes. It's probably the most joke packed show I've ever seen, and all of them are top notch, if you're into the Police Squad/Naked Gun/Airplane type of humour. I seldom laugh out loud at comedy shows and movies, but this is one of them. Also, Andrée Vermeulen is cute as a button.
The first season aired in a marathon in early 2016 then the next two seasons in mid 2016 and early 2017 all within quick succession. Then the fourth season burned off in late 2018. Not surprised most people didn’t hear about it.
Talk about terrible marketing? Police Squad was cancelled after six shows because an executive at Paramount stated that "We felt that the level of humor went over the heads of the average American viewing public." but many thanks to Steve and his wife Nancy Carell, they carried on that legacy of Airplane craziness through Angie Tribeca. Steve and Nancy are much under-rated.
IDK why they didn't support more this show! It would a tremendous and huge success! It wouldn't be a big thing to have it back i really wanted it back! Thats what she said! I will not stop from getting it from front to back! Thats what she says! haha 🤣
WTH!!! I started watching this on Hulu and within a few seconds was wondering if someone slipped me some narcotics. I'm still not sure, but I'll watch some more to try and figure out WTH!!!
I always found it weird that Tribeca viewed herself as a little white in that flashback. Which was not a joke, but can be overly relevant to people of mixed background having trouble self-identifying. had a black friend, in his 30s, open up about always being a white guy in his dream. [atleast its not gender related. that would be a mind trip of self-discovery.]
If you think about it, people making the color of the skin the defining thing about their identity seems so random. Why not the color of your hair, or the color of your eyes?

They definitely did not try to copy B99. They were more going for Police Squad (even down to copying the "let's say" gag). Very different styles of humor.
You can't really think that this is copying Brooklyn Nine-Nine? They're quite different, I always thought B99 was a little ham-fisted and this show reminds me more of the slapstick tradition of the Naked Gun and Airplane movies

This show is terrible! It's like they tried to copy Brooklyn 99, set it in LA, and hired a bunch of 3rd graders to write the script. Lazy comedy.
