    Learning Java first has definitely helped me learn python faster. After I finish the python project I'm doing, I want to get back to Java and also learn Kotlin

    • @Serjason2
      @Serjason2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most people learn Python first then Java since if you’re comparing the two Python is much more user friendly. At the end of the day, Python or Java is all up to the persons goals and careers and whatever they choose to master the most.

      I think Python, JavaScript, and Java are probably 3 amazing languages to learn. Java is very strict on types and syntax which would help if you transitioned from JavaScript to TypeScript. JavaScript is used a lot for web development and even mobile app development especially when using React. Python and Java are 2 big languages that are used in a lot in back-end, API development (Python + Django or Java + Springboot), scripts, etc.

    • @RedSky8
      @RedSky8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Serjason2 Facts, right now I'm using Python for a data science project and of course I love his simple it is compared to Java. Learning loops, if statements, oop, and data structures in Java really helped me pick it up in Python because of how simple it is. Like someone for ing you to drive a stick shift before you use an automatic.

    • @RedSky8
      @RedSky8 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liam1902 Exactly, I really love the backend side of things! I'd eventually like to try out python for a machine learning project and a Java one to compare. I haven't tried the spring framework yet but I hear a lot of good things!

    My Future goal is to be a Blockchain developer. And SOLIDITY is the main language been used. Regardless, I think knowledge of Javascript is much needed...So I have decided to learn Javascript first before proceeding to Solidity. But do I have to master the whole of Back-end before I proceed to Blockchain via Solidity?
    And also, as I am taking the route of a self taught, I just need guidance on best way and route to take as I have no time to waste..
    I wish I could know in Sept of Software development before going for blockchain developer... So that I could beakong some side income with the first skill while I am learning blockchain development.

    just learn Java or Javascript, Python simplicity is overrated when you consider the big draw is "English like syntax" is in every language. No boiler plate is overrated and has its own drawbacks.
    IDEs do all the boiler plate for you anyways so don't fear that like I did when moving from Python (which likely isn't getting you a job without a data science background). And honestly brackets help readily identify what code is within scope
