    It is always heartbreaking to have to give up your pets. Nice to see people helping out. Truly are still good people in this world. Thanks for sharing.

    Some nice additions there Vic, it’s a real shame those two or three older Oscars have such terrible hole in the head :(
    Those two big ghost knives are awesome, I’ve never owned one

    I have a 20inch fire eel that i recently adopted. It only eats night crawlers. Prior owner couldn’t get it to eat anything else. So far neither can I 😢. But he’s so fun to keep. So personable and outgoing.

      We have had similar experience. Once they set into their feeding habits, they seem impossible to wean off onto different feeds!

    Those three Kois are looking for the end of the pond!

    Man that Wels Catfish is gorgeous, has it ever "tried" eating any of the kois? I am sure he can do it if he wanted to. It's one of my fears, doing a big catfish with kois. I wanted to do an RTC with Kois in the future but im scared with the mouth size an RTC has, he'd try to eat a full grown koi. Of course feeding would lower the chances of the RTC doing it. But they are such gluttons, it makes it seem like it wouldn't matter.

      If a tank mate fits in an RTC's mouth, it will be eaten sooner or later. Same with wels but our wels has proven an exception, moody, spoiled brat who hates large meals. So far the wels hasn't eaten anyone, although he did mouth some. We watch close.

    Probably be better off for you Vic if you put those black ghost knives in a tank with pvc tubes, also Probably best to get them in another tank away from so many cichlids.
    Some awesome additions tho 👍

    Great rescue. One question: Why were there huge puffs of blood that came out of the gills of those koi when you put them into their new home?

      Thank you. Koi bleed easily at gills when they struggle in a net. It heals quick and without complications.

      koi bleed at gills easily when fighting in a net, they heal quickly and inconsequentially it seems. wels hates large meals, fortunately for us.

    How do you keep the bottom of your tanks so clean? I never see any debris it’s perfect.

    • @Fish-Story
      @Fish-Story  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bottom drains take in all detritus, which is swept by current and fish.

    I guess arowana arent that territorial? Seems to not even care you added one to its tank....

    • @Fish-Story
      @Fish-Story  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They are territorial and hierarchical. Beakerina DID let the new arowana know she is the boss but without unneeded injuries.
