It you really wanted to add to convenience and safety then why don't you use Handwheel type POL connectors for the cylinder pigtails, then you'd have a completely tool free system (that securing strap arrangement could be much better as well, it encourages people to put stress on a gas connection when they tighten the strap up.)

What about distance between gas and appliances :)
that does not look secure to me ? someone could easy trip or fall and knock the propane over and kink the pipe?
