Model photography is a true mystery to me.
The most insane poses get you great results.
Here, for instance, the model looks amazing in pictures even though, if you look at the scene from a distance, she looks like she’s taking a dump standing up. This is nuts.

Beck was amazing! Her energy shines thru and gave the images that spontaneity, i would have done the same, shutter on continuous and just spray away. Photos were excellent, congrats to both of you but its not a lens for me i would save a bot more and get the 50mm F1

My X-T4 with 23mm f1.4 has been sitting around collecting dust. I rented the 18mm f1.4 and I love the images I am getting. Better for shooting when out with friends, very sharp, and just worth buying in my opinion. Selling the 23mm and buying this.

Killer photos you two. I especially liked the more distant shots owning tge landscape, and the closer-in 18mm head and shoulders shots. Oh man, this lens looks too good - and 18mm / 28 equivalent is my favourite focal length. I mean I love my 18mm f/2 on my X-Pro3, it firs perfectly and has great 'pop', but for my low-light gug and wedding work this looks the business. The 16mm f/1.4 is great and all but was always just a bit too wide for me, so a trade in I think! By the way love your shots where you see the fold out screen as you shoot. Real cool.

The 90 F2 and the 50 F2. I have found over the last five years that these three lenses will give me everything I need in regards to street photography.
Considering Fuji cameras aren’t the fastest or most accurate in auto focus, you need the fastest focusing lenses you can get. And the bokeh on all three is really good!

While a lens like this is not even close to my budget, there is lots to learn here about posing a model and having fun. In terms of the Fuji f2 trio(23, 35, 50), which do you think would be the best to as a starter prime? Those are the most affordable for me and I'd love to get one of them. Thanks!!

Great images and a fun video. As much as I truly love my Fuji lenses, I come from the Canon R5/R6 and the autofocus has been a monumental step backwards. It hasn't bothered me too much because I'm not shooting sports and weddings with my Fuji stuff, but it's pretty hit and miss with this X-E4. That hasn't stopped me from taking the next step and buying an X-T4 when they get back in stock, though...these are probably the most fun digital cameras I've ever owned and I love the look the lenses provide. That said, I don't think I can part ways with my 18mm f/2 for my street and travel photos. This lens looks to be optically incredible, but the size/weight of the f/2 is hard to beat for my uses.

Yeah ive been shooting Sony as my main camera for the last 3 years and even when I shot with the R5 I would still say Sony is more reliable and predictable. Fuji has the tech. I think it will be amazing in the next generation of Fuji cameras

why you can catch so much shot on burst? if i were using my xt3 in burst mode, I probably get most of them out of focus

Sometimes it just depends on your focus mode and focus area. I usually don’t use face af and I use a smaller spot so that I can precisely focus where I want
