Anyone who’s been on TH-cam for awhile (I’ve been watching since it was only cat videos and strange dancing videos) knows everyone has an agenda. However, 2is1 tells it as he sees it. No agenda. Absolutely the best channel I’ve found on precious metals. Too many out there have a doomer mindset, tell you to sell off your 401k, buy nothing but metals, ammo, and food. Really nice hearing someone talking about things like the opportunity cost of metals and assets that don’t pay dividends. Seeing that there are people stacking who are *not* convinced the world is ending made me a lot more comfortable about metals.
“You buy gold to reduce stress, not because of it”. That’s some of the best non-financial financial advice I’ve ever heard. Ive probably heard it before, but I heard it THIS time and it flowed well with the Twain quote, and fear perspectives. Well done. 👍 given Thanks for what you do.

You have become my favorite YT stacker to watch because you are well grounded and leave out the theatrics. We think similarly, and while I think it's good to get opposing viewpoints, sometimes I just need reinforcement that I am buying gold for the right reasons.
Great channel, you’re doing a great job I love the realistic look at things and lack of all the hype thanks just stumbled onto you a week ago glad you’re here from a new stacker
I like the long format Q&A but prefer your normal videos. I would run in again but would like to watch a bunch of reels on each question individually. Idk. I’m a fan of your stuff. Keep up the good work.
Loved it! It’s all questions we have. Watched it end to end it didn’t seem long at all. Your thoughts and discussions in all your videos have made me become a smarter stacker and really think about what my goals are and how to best achieve them. I’ve become much more disciplined in what, when an how much I accumulate. I look back at my beginnings and see that I was just picking up the shiny stuff with no thought of the end game. Keep it coming.
I really appreciate your advice on buying stupid things. I had a hobby for six years or more and I was always losing money - buying new and selling at a loss. Instead, I’ve switched to buying gold and silver. This satisfies my need to collect something while at the same time save money. You talked about tricking your brain in a previous video such that you get the quick high by buying fractional gold instead of waiting for months to buy a one ounces. Yes the premiums are higher but I don’t care. I’d rather spend $50 more on a fractional premium then waste it on a useful collectible that does not increase in value. Great channel!
There will always be wars, thats why i chose the military as a career. Not for everyone, but worked well for me. 🚁🇺🇸 I 💰buy gold as a stress reliever, sure beats drinking. 🥃
I watched it, I enjoyed the content too. I actually like the idea of taking questions, I think some really good questions were asked and the content was covered thoroughly and quickly enough.
The time flew by. It's interesting to hear what other people are thinking about gold and investing. YES, I've cut way back on listening to some I've listened to for years. Or I'll start the video and decide, don't want to listen to this. Thank you.
Great video and good content and Q&A. I really liked this video and think you should do more like this one occasionally. I try to buy 10-12 ounces a year. Those are my goals but they do fluctuate. Yes, I did watch to the end.
Great new video. Thanks for the new and updated content,, cool to see and hear about your things. Never a bore, always entertaining, thanks for your time.
Great video. For future Q&A consider; EDC. Bag, PDW, knife? Since you travel what are your “must haves” for the road. Perhaps, an idea of how much gold you carry (or suggest one might carry) on a trip?
Great theme and the use of what so many people are thinking about but unsure where to honestly direct their questions too. Have a great Independence Day bro
Great video, don’t mind the length at all. Your point on not stressing what hasn’t happened is HUGE. The silver pundits of TH-cam have definitely gotten me worked up in the past. Have a great Independence Day 2 is 1!
I have obtained all the gold I need. I have, for years been a buyer of BTC, too. I am going to hold both to the end of time. I love those gold pieces you have chosen. I may, from time to time buy some semi-Numi gold pieces in the future, but it will be rare occasions vs. the norm of regular buys. That is what I love about asset investments is diversifying it all .
Thanks again 2is1,,,, I guess I would have 2 questions. First one: Do you think of an age you would slow up buying gold? Second: Is your family members on board and understand the reason of purchasing gold/ If not would you sell off your gold later in life so your family doesn't have to deal with it......
Thanks 2 is 1. I've got a lot of silver and even though I love it... it's so darn heavy! I knew at some point I would gravitate towards gold. I'm a new subscriber and your channel is just right for helping me Segway into gold. Keep it up, silver is different than gold, not so much a monetary metal as it is industrial. I'm still hot for silver but I'm more attracted to her richer, classyer sister. Buying my first 1/2 oz. AGE this month...
Great video as always... thanks. Didn't get in on the first go around but a couple questions came to mind as I was watching. First, who really "sets" the premiums for gold? I was in my LCS today and they raised their premiums on gold this week even though spot price is down the last couple weeks... they claim premiums went up for them. I get that any LCS or online dealers can sell at whatever premium they want but it seems like the more spot price goes down the more premiums go up so that regardless of movement in spot price you are basically always paying the same for an ounce of gold. What will it take for premiums to go back down to a reasonable level? Second topic... have you in the past or would you now consider selling some of the gold you acquired at lower prices if spot price spikes to lock in a profit on that particular purchase in hopes of buying back lower on a dip? Thanks as always!
You are correct in your observation where "spot down equals premium up." When spot drops below what they paid wholesale they just raise their premiums to make up the difference, otherwise they'd go out of business. That's also why whenever spot on any precious metal drops precipitously, suddenly they don't have any for sale.
High quality info here...very well done sir! Very much appreciated...I'm sure from alot of the stacking community looking at the comments...can't wait for another round! Stay safe and stack on!!! Will throw in what do you see on platinum?
The Q & A was great, skeptical I wasn't going to learn anything. But I did. I'd recommend a Q & A video 4 times a year or semi annually to keep up with the latest ideas about gold.
Great video! Good Q & A with a lot of good subjects. Balanced and sensible views that are truly needed in this world today. Best wishes and happy fourth to everyone! 🎉💥🥩🇺🇸
I am a first time buyer and you answered a lot my concerns, my biggest is where to buy, for some reason I don’t feel comfortable buying from a Local pawn shop type location, but not sure about online either.
Killer drawing, man!!! But for real, I was hoping you would give tips on how to gauge credibility of a vendor. Not just a plug to MM (but that was appreciated)
I should have gotten back to you. Was rushing! It’s either size (online dealers) or peer endorsement. The fact that you guys don’t hide your identities also goes a long way too. Nowhere to hide if there was sketchy behavior!
Hey thanks for the reply. I Love the channel and the good advice you give to the viewers. I say you have one of the best channels without the overhyped click bated videos.
Hey glad you got to my questions, hope they were helpful! I was going to ask what you do for a living, but had a feeling you wouldn't answer that lol. Out of curiosity, what portion of your income do you make from investments? How much is cash in hand/pension etc
Yeah. Thanks for the questions. I don’t really annualize investment gains, so I’m not sure I could answer that. I also do t worry about dividend stocks - I just reinvest any dividends. Cheers!
First time viewer...thank you for this. Enjoyed it. and yes I watched the entire thing. Just started on gold coins with the RCM Call of the Wild series. 5 9's So there is a question, what are your thoughts on series coins vs. standard coins like Maples ans Liberties?
Series coins are more interesting. I don’t get sucked in often, but I thought the Perth Mint Chinese Myths and Legends was a lot of fun. I like just about anything from the Royal Canadian Mint.
“200 ounces of gold is a helluva lotta gold.” Why yes, yes it is. Part of the reason I haven’t posted a video in so long is because I stopped buying precious metals. I can’t justify additional gold given I met my self-imposed limit of 8% of my portfolio. I just don’t have anything useful to talk about anymore! You wanna hear about wills and estates? No? How about the rules of evidence? 😫🤮 Very nice video format. Anyone watching your videos has to recognize your credibility. Spot on with the “fear factors.”
I thought of you when I said that, Vert! You’re wrong, though. You have a huge amount of useful info to give. You’re one of the smartest people on this platform! Keep at it!
I agree vertical. With 2 you should continue. Like for example how you can move your gold to your children in the event of your death. Is it tax free inheritance? Do your children have to report it as income? Or a capital gain? Is there a away around the taxes? Is it just better to fly under the radar and no one ones your offspring even gets it? Enquiring minds want to know. Also why8%? Why not 10%? Few ideas there for ya
Honest answer? Yes those topics (wills, how to leave gold to your kids) are ones that should be discussed because let’s face it, the majority of the folks watching these videos love the shiny and probably are just planning to leave it to their kids and hope they continue to build off where we started. Any insights to that would definitely be appreciated so we all know better what to do.
Very enjoyable Q&A. I for one will hear you talk all day long. You don't actually need to talk all day long, even a 5-minute vid I'd play over and over. All day long 😀 Would you consider livestreaming Q&A? Thanks for today's 👍❤
Thanks for addressing my question. Your opinion on pre-33 coins did not help on my decision to dip my toe. It does help knowing that I’m not the only one who feels they don’t know enough to dive in.
Its the same thing with guns...lots of channels try to sell you on fear. I love my metals and my guns too, I am not taking advice from any of those channels. This was great, I look forward to more of these...and I watched it all!
Great one, easy listening…theory 11 gets lotsa love in your videos. You take it out the box much? I usually just smell and rub my face on the textured golden lines on the box, thanks again for the content, 🤙
701st like! You are probably one of the most credible sources on Gold I have found on the tube. Love your relaxed attitude and common sense approach. I do think its funny how you pronounce scenAAARRio! Dont have to answer if you don’t want to but Im curious what part of the states you live in?
If you buy at the top and it drops. You can also realize losses for a tax loss and then reinvest the money again while establishing a new cost basis. You can also buy put options on GLD so in the event it falls you can at least recoup your losses that way as well.
Great video! I had it on while opening acouple packages from metal merchant myself. Great sketch of liberty she gets my vote provided shes not from Nevada
Lol I mentioned previously that I am saving for a 2022 1 oz Gold Britannia. Well they were out of stock however the half ounces were available and $ were below $1800 for oz so I did pick up the coin and because I wanted a 1 ounce version for the security feature to be enlarged I caved by getting the 1 oz silver version. A day after it arrived I received a email stating the 1 oz Britannia was back in stock! Lol I couldn't believe this happened and thought I blew my opportunity, well Friday after waiting for four months my income tax return was direct deposited! I finally ordered my first 2021 1 oz British Gold Britannia coin, first ounce coin period. I'm super excited for it to arrive! How about you, pick up any new coins?
You'll be very happy with it - it's a gorgeous coin! I'm not buying at the moment, but I do have a few I'll grab almost regardless of spot price. Perth Mint Dragon from the Chinese Myths and Legends, the 2021 American Liberty High Relief (bucking horse) and possibly the Perth Mint Year of the Tiger later this year. Cheers!
The gurus have been saying it. You’re the only smart one wielding it around here! I need to try it out of the gate. See if I can pull the sword from the stone! 😄
Holding some bags from crypto as well, caught it a few weeks after the decline from the peak thinking it has found the bottom, but hey, I still believe it's the future of money, so I'm quite content with just buying and leaving it alone. Still trying to hit my silver goal before switching to gold. Thanks for always being a sound reasonable precious metals advocate in the sea of precious metals spammers/almost scammers.
My question would be, as a silver stacker looking to get into gold, the only way i have found to value the 2 is the GSR (Gold to Silver Ratio) and i have a number in mind but do you have thoughts on when it would be applicable to use the GSR to get into gold? I am only interested in Eagles (Both Gold and Silver) but do you have any other thoughts on the comparison using the GSR and also what do you think about Platinum, never really hear you talk about it?
One of your videos called "You be the Bank" got me good where ive been considering precious metals greatest benefit. If you accumulate gold and silver as a store of real value, and thus become a bank... you can get other institutions(corporate and private) to give you their slave money (just like banks do). Then you can put OPM to work just like the banks do.
Great video man, I loved it. Question: I know you’re not a fan of anything besides government backed coins. But what about reputable companies like Texas Precious Metals who pump out .9999 Gold and Silver Rounds? They just got backed by the Goldstar Trust Company and have been around since 2013 I believe.
How do you stay disciplined with your buying? More specifically, sticking to your budget and or keeping your diversification maximized without exceeding the lime in the sand for precious metals specifically? As many of us know once you start buying it is somewhat hard to stop, I just want some pointers on how to prevent an addiction haha 😉.
How much? I view gold and silver as insurance, so it depends how much insurance I want. If the price goes up, I have more insurance. If it goes down, it's on sale. I mean, you don't fret when Macacheese goes for three for a dollar, right?
I wish you’d make videos that cover topics outside of gold. I’d love to get your guidance on how to get into the real estate market, starting a business, etc.

Thank you!
Thanks for the Q and A! It is definitely worth the while. Take care and have a happy 4th of July!
Thank you! Have a good holiday!
Love your videos. Would you consider making a video on your knife collection - looks impressive so far. Thank you
TH-cam doesn't seem to like pocket knives. I might just go for it any way. Thanks!
Absolutely worthwhile. Thank you for your time!
Thanks for watching!
Great video thanks for throwing in a Q&A to mix things up a bit.
Absolutely. Thanks for watching!
I am a first time buyer and you answered a lot my concerns, my biggest is where to buy, for some reason I don’t feel comfortable buying from a
Local pawn shop type location, but not sure about online either.
That was cool Man. Keep em' coming.
I like your sketch of an updated Lady Liberty , maybe send it to the U.S mint and advise an update.. haha
Ha! Maybe I just tell them, “make her sexier!” 😂
@@2is1gold Good idea , and while your at it , tell them to stop cutting off bits of the Eagle ..haha
Recently found you and definitely liking your videos!
Hey thanks for the reply. I Love the channel and the good advice you give to the viewers.
I say you have one of the best channels without the overhyped click bated videos.
Appreciate that, and thanks for the question!
this was a fun video, i feel.
maybe the question i asked will be in the next one.
anyways, great vid look forward to the next one. :)
Yep! Any I didn’t get to stay at the top of the list!
This is a great format. Interesting and informative. Thanks for your time!
Thank you!
Very nice video format. Anyone watching your videos has to recognize your credibility. Spot on with the “fear factors.”
I thought of you when I said that, Vert! You’re wrong, though. You have a huge amount of useful info to give. You’re one of the smartest people on this platform! Keep at it!
@Vertical Lol, YES, YES it Is !! 😀 you made my day 👍 ** Nw Subscriber
U guys are way outta my league. I’m glad you are blessed, really 😎⚒
I figure a person only competes against himself. Cheers!
Very enjoyable Q&A. I for one will hear you talk all day long. You don't actually need to talk all day long, even a 5-minute vid I'd play over and over. All day long 😀
Would you consider livestreaming Q&A?
Thanks for today's 👍❤
Hey, Shashank! Yeah, I’d like to do a live one. I just have to find a week where I’m at the right place at the right time! Thanks for the note!
Spectacular info. Well presented. Subbed.
Thank you!
Thanks for addressing my question. Your opinion on pre-33 coins did not help on my decision to dip my toe. It does help knowing that I’m not the only one who feels they don’t know enough to dive in.
Great video
Its the same thing with guns...lots of channels try to sell you on fear. I love my metals and my guns too, I am not taking advice from any of those channels. This was great, I look forward to more of these...and I watched it all!
Thank you!
Great one, easy listening…theory 11 gets lotsa love in your videos. You take it out the box much? I usually just smell and rub my face on the textured golden lines on the box, thanks again for the content, 🤙
Thanks! I have two of every deck. One is open, one is left sealed. I love the cards, but I use Bees when I play.
701st like! You are probably one of the most credible sources on Gold I have found on the tube. Love your relaxed attitude and common sense approach. I do think its funny how you pronounce scenAAARRio! Dont have to answer if you don’t want to but Im curious what part of the states you live in?
Thanks! I split time between the midwest and Southern California.
If you buy at the top and it drops. You can also realize losses for a tax loss and then reinvest the money again while establishing a new cost basis.
You can also buy put options on GLD so in the event it falls you can at least recoup your losses that way as well.
Very true. Cheers!
Duuuude you can draw!! 🔥🔥🔥 very nice sketch. You should have submitted that to the US Mint and make our coins more beautiful!
Ha, that’s not a good example, but thanks! 😄 I’d love to just fix the current Liberty!
Great video! I had it on while opening acouple packages from metal merchant myself. Great sketch of liberty she gets my vote provided shes not from Nevada
Ha! 😅
Q7 now in 2024: Gold sure did a hell of a job outperforming the rest of the market this year! 🎉😆
Okay you got me, where do you find authentic cool card decks like the ones you have?
Can you get Victorian era cards at an affordable price?
Amazon.
Theory11 direct, or find them on Amazon. amzn.to/3ec9B4L
@@2is1gold thanks!
Cheers!
Then THIS Happened….. Never Ask a Question That You Don’t Know the Answer to:
“Mr OJ Simpson, please put these gloves on” 🧤
I wondered how long it would take to trigger your alarm. It’s like a Bat Signal! 😅
@@2is1gold then THIS Happened is a click magnet. 😂
The gurus have been saying it. You’re the only smart one wielding it around here! I need to try it out of the gate. See if I can pull the sword from the stone! 😄
This was good thank you! Time for another one.
Anyone who collects Theory 11 cards is DEFINITELY a smart person! 👍🏻
Ha!
Do your prefer air tite capsules with or without black felt inserts? Great content !
Without. Thanks!
Where can I purchase books like you have in the background ???
Hit up Easton Press. A lot of mine are from there.
As a guy, Quality Tools, Guns, then Silver, Gold !
** Next Up - Gold Britannia and Philharmonic 👍 nice coins
👍👍
Holding some bags from crypto as well, caught it a few weeks after the decline from the peak thinking it has found the bottom, but hey, I still believe it's the future of money, so I'm quite content with just buying and leaving it alone. Still trying to hit my silver goal before switching to gold. Thanks for always being a sound reasonable precious metals advocate in the sea of precious metals spammers/almost scammers.
Just found today. Thanks for the content. I have a lot of questions as well.
Thank you brother for this. God bless and keep up the great videos and information.
Thanks for question! ✊
When do you turn your silver into gold???? What’s the magic number (ratio)???
I don’t really play the ratio, but I traded a bunch in the 65ish:1.
✊
very much enjoyed this video. It did not feel like a 20 minutes plus video.
Hey, thank you!
I love your videos. Always informative and interesting. :)
Thank you!
I’d still be afraid of resale for gold rounds. Silver would be fine to me. Cheers!
That’s a good question. I have very specific starting allocations and then know any purchases beyond that affect other things.
@@2is1gold true, I am going to have to think hard about ways to mentally incentivize not going overboard.
How much? I view gold and silver as insurance, so it depends how much insurance I want. If the price goes up, I have more insurance. If it goes down, it's on sale. I mean, you don't fret when Macacheese goes for three for a dollar, right?
I wish you’d make videos that cover topics outside of gold. I’d love to get your guidance on how to get into the real estate market, starting a business, etc.
you said you would do a piece on security features?
On the Eagles?
