I had one just like this in 1970. I was 17 with a 396/375HP big block and buddy, let me tell you, it was bad ass then. Navy Blue Metallic, with Crager S/S wheels, all steel Crome that would shine like you wouldn’t believe. 6-1/2” on the front and 8” on the back with Mickey Thompson’s on the rear. My God, I still wish I had that car. Every time I see one of these cars, I am transported back to my youth. Probably lucky to be alive. We were drag racing on Telegraph road every weekend for years.
I also had a '66 Chevelle SS with the 360 hp/ 396 in a burnt Orange exterior color. I beat on that car alot and it held up pretty well. We street drag raced at Automation in Abilene, Texas during the mid '70's. We track raced at Steamboat Mountain racetrack in Buffalo Gap, Texas, just southeast of Abilene.
I want to let you know you'll do a very good job of showing your vehicles from top to bottom and I haven't seen anything else like that from other dealers who sell classic cars that's pretty excellent
"We can fix the wiper motor and heater for you if you want" Yeah I think when someone buys a 30k+ car, they probably want everything to work :D nice chevelle guys
Funny how you never know what you have until you lose it ,aint that the truth now i regret getting rid of my 66 chevelle ss !!! vanguard motors best place to go for your muscle car investment!
My personal all time favorite muscle car 1966-67 Chevelle ..........

I bought my -66 ss chevelle almost 40 years ago for 600. Dollars and still have to this day
Bought mine in 75' for $800.00
Bought my 136 vin 67 El in 94 for 2200 every option in the book. 10 yr frame off still got it. Only when I croak will it leave me.
66 to 71 was the best year for Chevelle.
I had a 69 Chevelle SS !
Wish I would of kept it ! Of course. 🤣🤣
Skyline Grey !Sweet Ride!
I like Cragar rims but I think for this car is better looking with Ralley rims, of course that is just me.
Or Cragar S/S wheels
Me too rally rims are the best
@@alexdecastro4655 Or Centerline autodrags.....weld draglite maybe.
Cant go wrong with any of em
I’m glad you guys are steal selling these and I don’t have to worry about them going extinct
Sweat a beautiful car!!
"The accelerator works really good." I bet it does. How much to rent for a weekend. :) Sweet ride.
Love the Malibu Super Sport !
Great car, love those older Chevelles !
C`mon, Greg....give us old gearheads a thrill....rip second gear, and bust those rear tires loose ! :-)

Omg sooo beautiful 😍
I like this car
Beautiful car
38 large baby, cool car
Theres a 71 "SS" on maple motors for 49k that needs a lot of work .
This one is twice the quality.
Nice to see someone didnt slap clone SS emblems all over it.
MOST SS CARS HAVE FACTORY BUCKET SEATS.
Id call it dolphin blue.
My fav
had one with a 454 , too much for the street , sold it.. but I wish I never did..
Steel gray
NO air. Not for me in the south.
In Ca and threw my ac out in the 90s, wipers too. Never used em..who drives these in storms of 100 plus deg heat anyways
I like the 66 Chevelle better than the 67
bad ass
color is mist blue sam as my 66
Those are weld racing rims
Looks like a Weld Pro Star to me too. Dont know why they'd use Cragar center caps on it. Don't ever remember Cragar making this style of wheel either.
why show post from 5 years ago....?
