And then at the end in the dressing room when he puts his arm on her shoulder and she looks up and smiles at him, (as if representing getting high after a show) this is just my perspective looking back at this music video at 29 years old battling addiction on and off since I’m 18. (Been clean for a long time now thankfully tho) I’m not in any way saying this is what they are portraying or trying to show as a message. I looked at this music video MUCH differently as a young girl, believe me!

To each their own, right? I just watched the new Irresistible video for like the tenth time and it reminded me of this era of Demi's music (this song, get back, la la land, etc.) so I'm taking a trip down memory lane. I miss this type of music on radio and such.

This is getting on my nerves. Just because she changed her music style doesn't mean she's no longer a rocker girl. She still loves metal. She still dresses in her black boots,skirt, and shirt. She's still this girl in the video. She just left some parts of her behind. Like the eating disorders and cutting. Although those issues follow her, she keeps leaving them.
I wish you all would just appreciate the fact that she's maturing instead of hate the "new" her because she doesn't sound the same. She's DEMI LOVATO! She will always be Demi no matter what.
