Thanks for the comments. Chichester is a small cathedral but the choir punches above its weight and is one of the best in my admittedly biased opinion.
I was fortunate enough to be trained at Chichester under Alan Thurlow. The groundwork he put into this choir has served his successors well. The organ, however, is beginning to sound tired, even though it was rebuilt by Mander not that long ago. It badly needle a clean at the very least. Beautiful sound and balance though.
Nice performance form Chichester and thanks for the video.....however i really feel that the music should change pages quicker (not just in this scored video but in all choral score videos)! See if you want to sing along you have to guess what is written in the first bar of each screen change and by the time it changes it's too late! This is true of all choral music vidoes with provided score! But a very nice sound/blend and good diction!
