This night market in Kuala Lumpur is by far the best night market in Malaysia. It's a lot of fun to watch. You're right you have to haggle otherwise buyer beware. Love it.
Petalng street fake markets are a lot of fun. Kuala Lumpur is a great city. You should check out Langkawi in the North of Malaysia. Its more your style.
Petaling Street, as compared to 30 years ago, has seen a great influx of foreign workers mainly from Bangladesh & Pakistan who are now manning the stalls. Superb talent in jerking high prices on fake items. Not worth your hard earned money.
