Happy birthday, sweet sweet Haru !! I wish you many happy returns, many happy, healthy moments with brother Griffin n your precious family. Take care of yourself, angel... You have no idea how much smiles you brought into my life. Now that you are 7, you are a senior doggo, remember to take cardiothorax X-ray twice a year to monitor your heart function, whether or not you develop cardiomegaly, which is oh so common for doggo of your race. I lost Bandit, my precious frenchie baby, last year to cardiomegaly n heat stroke, and for months I beat myself up n cried myself to sleep every night thinking how could I be so stupid as to let my baby overexert himself playing, chasing the neighbourhood kids during his regular walk. He panted n breathed heavily the whole morning, drank many bowls of water to cool off until he puked b/c his enlarged heart couldn't handle it. He died that afternoon at the age of 9 yrs n 3 months, when he should have many more happy moments. It's been over a year now, although the sharp pain has turned into a dull ache, sometimes I find myself crying when I recall our happy moments snuggling together watching the telly. Pls take care of yourself Haru, n take care of your brother Griffin too. I'm so envious when I see you go for play to the park with your dad, 'cos I can't do it with my baby now, but it makes me sooooo happy too to see you run so carefree. Be well, angel, and I hope you regrow the fur on your back soon. Hugs & Love across the ocean ❤❤❤
