Thank you for your ministry, I am not sure why the Lord didn't bring me to them a year ago when I was trying so hard to "help" God save my sweet husband. I am thankful for the healing I have been going through and appreciate your guidance to let God heal my husband and stay out of His way.

I have been standing for my marriage for 6 yrs and when you said what Jesus went through I am starting to realize we all have our calling and cross to bear ..I haven't talked to him in 6 yrs and I stand in the gap and pray for his salvation and our marriage to be restored

Did You hear God tell you to stand? I am curious.. because he doesn't tell all to. I mean, I would assume so if you've been standing this long but you never know. And I've heard that that is a critical part of success to reconcile..there is a powerful sister who waited 10yrs and now she and her husband have been great ministry. She is an annointed prayer warrior and always fans my faith flame. Her testimony is encouraging despite the time. Part of what delays our reconciliation is taking so long to realize we must submit the God #1 & make Him our center. .and that's what pulls the spouse to Him, through intercession & then the commonality brings us back together..which is Christ. The Resurrection. I have been struggling to let go of my spouse completely. But I'm realizing that's exactly how to really get him back..I am out of order before God & I repent. This standing is a big challenge for anyone who knows. Don't let anyone discourage your stand..but stand on the promise God made. Love and Shalom to you

All pain may have a purpose, but not all purpose is worth the pain. If you cross the road without looking and get run over, the purpose of you being a quadriplegic for the next 80 years was to lean to look both ways before you cross the road. But was the purpose (to look both ways) worth the pain? HELL NO! Jacob may have wrestled with God, and Job may have finally been visited by God..... but that was when GOD decided to physically show up, not when Jacob or Job did anything. But God decided to physically, audibly, tangibly show up. God has never physically shown up in my life, despite being washed in the Blood of Christ and despite decades of pleading just as Job did, nor has God shown up in 99.99% of peoples' lives. God certainly never consulted me before creating me and putting me in this Hell-hole called existence. He certainly knew I would have never agreed to such a thing... existence...... I beg God that he allow me to perish.... not that he allow me to have eternal life while experiencing conscious torment in flames (the wages is not eternal life in a bad neighborhood, the wages of sin is death), but that he allow me to perish.

Could you do something about being married to an unsaved spouse? Is it blessed ever, and do the two really become one if they have different spirits? Is it really a covenant in God’s eyes if they’re unequally yoked? Specific prayers to pray would also be a benefit. Also could you clearly define marriage and divorce, and remarriage? There’s many disagreements about Scripture, because many times people want to interpret something to benefit themselves. If people remarry after a divorce even if there’s been infidelity, does God bless that marriage, or is it under cursed from the beginning? In any of these cases about marriage, divorce, or remarriage, do we reap what we sow the rest of our lives? Is that an open door for the enemy to continue to cause division and strife?

My Wife has left me and I completely agree with the view he tells you, Divorce is a sin (even in the case of adultery) and remarriage (unless your spouse has past away) is a sinful lifestyle. David Pawson tells it very clearly and knows alot. Scripture is clear about it, but its not how we want to see it (it might be far from easy). Like Dominic also told in previous content, if a spouse leaves you, he or she alrdy has left God. It all fits perfectly, it is only a matter if you want to accept Gods way, or make your own!
Be lead by the Holy Spirit alone as often each person's calling is different and scripture can be misinterpreted by man. Queen Esther was a 2nd wife and was blessed beyond measure also Abigail!
I know, that part of the Bible seems to be ignored. Is it because so many in the church are remarried after divorce so nobody wants to call it out? I don't know if it's wrong or not. I can't go back to my ex husband so I feel stuck alone. Just me and God and my girls. It's really hard because when I've read about divorce it looks like I'll be sinning if I am with another man.

And people who remarry, have justified themselves.
