Falafel Seasoned Chicken Burger …Amazing Flavors of the Levant!! | Dinners in Canada

Hi Folks,
For those of you that love Chicken burgers but want to try something different , this one is for you. Easy and has phenomenal flavor. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 large chicken Breast
Frying oil(sunflower)
Flour
1 egg
1tbsp hot sauce
1-2 cups of pre-made falafel mix
Tomato
Onion
Lettuce
Peppercino pickles
Burger Buns
Garlic,4-8 cloves
1/4 cup Yogurt
1 tsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Harrisa
1/2 cup Cilantro
Salt
Instructions
1. Add 4-8 cloves of garlic, cilantro, olive oil, Harrisa, 1 tbsp of water and yogurt into blender and blend.
2. Leave this for at least one hour in fridge before making burger.
3. Slice a chicken breast in two
4. Coat breast in flour, egg-hot sauce mixture, then coat in falafel mix.
5. Leave it on a rack for 15 mins then coat in falafel mix one more time. This will help the coating stick to the chicken.
6. Fry in one inch of oil, 5 minutes 1 side, then flip and three minutes on the other side
7. Dry on rack to maintain crunch.
8. Toast your buns with some Butter, and add sauce, lettuce, chicken, lettuce, onion and peppercino peppers. Add sauce between layers, this acts as a glue to hold sandwich together.
Serve with Potato wedges and extra Kosher pickles.
Very easy, and a nice alternative to southern fried Chicken burgers!

Thanks, I really loved this. It’s a nice change from the normal chicken burger, and gives that great middle eastern flavour! It’s a new favourite for me.
