Mine didn’t work that way. It went to a screen with a little green bug that says “No command”. OMG!! It’s a free tab that I received from T-Mobile!! Now what do I do??? I’d like to get it back to the screen where I could unlock it to use it. I’d like to include a screenshot in this comment. But I don’t see where I can attach one.
I'm having the same problem I tried doing the hard reset but the up volume up and the power button does not work together and bring that up where I can reset what can I do please help

You can't even call the SKY company for assistance. I sent them an email explaining what happened months ago and no answer. I have not seen anyone since I got it from a booth set up on the street to even ask what happened. Seems a lot of people with same issue. It's a nice tablet.

This is a security feature built into android and apple devices. They implemented it because people were stealing phones, resetting and then selling them.

I hold the buttons and the screen just flashes, can’t find any articles or youtuber that’s competent enough to find an actual fix. Everybody posts the same tutorial that’s written on android websites, what do we do when that bullshit don’t work though ?

When I charged it up then turned it on I had wifi. I did not complete signing up for awhile. I had TH-cam and nothing else. I love the tablet. Then I finished sign up and next time I turned it on I was locked out. What in the world happened? Nothing I have done works.
My sky elite continues to try connect to internet/WiFi. Then message, unable to connect.... And the screen continued to buffer or circle over 30+ minutes?? It was originally set up to WiFi, which we no longer can afford. The data triangle is blank? Idk .... Will try again tomorrow.
So this only works if you have the pin/google account on the tablet. We the folks are looking for a solution that doesnt require this so this is useless to those who dont remember the google account/pin....dont waste your time ppl, just like i did tryna reset this damn tablet! lbvs

I figured it. So if it didnt show the factory and just the android green roboot guy. Then just push power up and power bottom at the same time hold it 2 seconds and keep doing it and then it will appear for you to pick the fatory reset like we know would show like the guy is showing. I did it on mine and it work after 3 times doing what i said
