- Open Workout 13.4 - Video Submission Standards
Prior to starting, film the plates and barbell to be used so the loads can be clearly seen. All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. A second person with a stopwatch should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. Shoot the video from the side so it is clear that the barbell is locked out overhead, and the feet can be seen behind the plane of the bar at the bottom, and in contact with the bar at the top. - กีฬา

Probably the answer. I have seen a few guys do the same thing by using a smaller bar with added weight. Might start to matter in the later rounds when grip becomes a factor for bigger athletes.

I dont know if anyone has notice, but the way Julie did the kipping toes to bar here are the hardest way, but the one i think it's the best. It keep's the nice tight form of the strict, but use the swing of the kip (wich i would say makes it even harder in other parts of the body) but it does give you some speed efficience. The other kipping most of crossfiters do i would say it's cheating. It's a knees to elbow with kicking and there is alot less work in the abs.
Im new to crossfit. Really wanna get into it but how does this workout work? I cant seem to figure out the pattern other than do it for 7 mins? Somebody help..

I really wouldn't say this is for someone who's new into crossfit. This one is just inverse to the common descending ladder progaming workouts. But it's pretty hard, and without a good technique for clean and jerk you would deffinetly hurt yourself, because there are too many reps.

Gotta love Julie. Not sure why she doesn't use a 45lbs bar. Not sure if the lighter bars have a smaller circumference which with being a woman with smaller hands would allow for a better grip.
