Salam Alaykom. I recently met a Christian who faces Jerusalem (towards the holy Temple or the Mount of Olives*) when he prays. I believe some Orthodox Christians (like Ethiopian Orthodox) also face this direction, and from what I read it comes from the Tanakh like 1st Kings 8:29-30 or Zacharia 14:4, and also the NT in Acts 1:11. I think it's common for Orthodox Churches to face East, and so their worship faces this direction in a general sense, and some of these face Jerusalem based on these verses. Forgive me if I made any mistakes here, but it's very interesting to look into this.
There is currently no evidence to support the existence of first-century manuscripts of the New Testament. Even esteemed textual critic Daniel B. Wallace, a prominent figure in this field, found himself in the position of having to issue apologies after mistakenly believing he had discovered a first-century manuscript, only to later ascertain its true dating. Here is Dr. Daniel B. Wallace's apology for falsely making claim there was first century manuscript:

@@Fulaan7 he is only refered to by his father's name if there are others named Muhammad in the room, my classroom consisted of 30 boys half of which were named Muhammad so it won't make sense to call out Muhammad because half the class would stand up.
It was really hard to watch the subtle provocations of this man. He acted as if he were sincere and in search of the truth, but the truth is that he thinks no one would notice his hypocritical nature and that he can get away with it. Major respect to you Muhammed for always being so patient with such people.

I had a argument with someone like this, they claim all religion is man made, then they can't back up their claim with evidence, these people usally don't want to live by the limitations religion puts on people, so they become ultra sceptics and are usally very shallow minded
Islam teaches strict monotheism, instills the best way of life for an individual, offers the best reorganization of society and state, and provides answers to existential questions. Religion that calls you to submit to The Almighty, commands you to live a clean life, and tells you to enjoin good and eradicate evil - such religion cannot be false. This is why Islam is the truth.
The religion is not false..most people following it are false and have no understanding of what Allah SWT tells them to protect themselves from in the Quran. Allah SWT says when they die, he will reserrect them and then tell them all that they were doing wrong, due to the fact they are misguided but perceive it not, claiming to be monotheists while behaving like polytheist blindly

When the prophet came Allah instructed us and him to pray towards Jerusalem as well before changing it to the Kaaba.
A place built, dedicated for God by Adam and Abraham.
The pagan Arabs had Abraham and Ismail’s teachings where they kept the Kaaba as a holy site. As time passed Amr Ibn Luhay came from the East with idols and that’s when the Arabs started worshipping idols and putting them around the holy site
How does this attribute a partner to Allah, we don’t worship the Kaaba itself which has broken down many times and rebuilt with our own hands. Allah the creator decided this area is holy, so it is holy. Just like the area of the burning bush, just because it’s holy does it mean we worship it? That’s a illogical leap
