same. im not from the country nor am i japanese (if you are please correct what im about to say if im wrong) but i feel like the reason there wasn't much rpd's from japan despite japan being a very big kpop loving country is due to the respect culture. i seen a few random dance plays from japan, but they always had them be not in public and half of the dancers were usually kids, or at a inside private event. this is the only public one that i seen because the event is kpop theme, so it makes sense
i also seen women do rpd's in japan just by themselves and japan loves TWICE, like genuently TWICE is probably one of, if not the biggest kpop group there. little side fun fact to prove my point about japan loving twice, but the place i got for my spotify wrapped wasn't Davis, California like most kpop fans, but actually Tokyo, Japan because I also listen to jpop. The three groups that was menioned were Keyakizaka46, Yorushika, and TWICE. I swear whenever a TWICE song played, there would always be someone doing the hand choreo but they never joined in and continued walking, which again, i believe is due to their respect culture
@@Chris-ot9bk omg what the heck, ok to be honest I loved this random play dance so much, I searched for some more on yt yesterday night and I didn't even find ANY public random dances japan. 😢 thats why I think this channel is famous because its the only random play dance in japan public* so far. And tbh they deserve more subscriber's. I don't think its because of anything personal on why don't they do it but I think its because it would be chaotic and too loud? But hey I hope ur words are also right.
