Thanks for the reply the another day Karl. The description you gave of your achievement was heart felt when describing the moment you walk into the sim and feeling the ambience of this fantastic project. I felt like I was in the cockpit with you and sharing. Only wish I was 30 years younger, had lots on money to start my own however watching you build your sim is pleasure enough for me... Be safe in Bruni!

This is what I hate about 3D printing. Coming back after hours of printing and finding everything in a mess. Good that you don't give up. And finally we saw that magic bottle at work.

Hi Mickey, Thank you and that made me chuckle. I can only imagine what you thought why there was a sprite bottle hanging from door! It works and very simple! lol

Try some PVA glue to hold down problematic parts like that. Just regular school grade glue stick. It's sticks well, when hot and is easily cleaned with water afterwards. It will change your life!

Hi Guy, Thank you for the suggestion, but i have now used FROG tape from amazon. That too works extremly well and prevents any bed warping. Kidn regards Karl

It's fun watching Karl's mind work a problem out 05:29. While I tend to use more "colorful language" while using Fusion, Karl just makes it sound so relaxed and cool, like it's going to be a surprise to everyone, including him how he's working it out. :) Keep up the great work man! Love supporting you and your project! Give to his Patreon everyone if you're not already!

Thank you! I started too many projects at once and haven't actually fully finished any yet. But some are really close. EFIS should be done in the next 24hrs, followed by the FMC, then the seat adjustment mod!

You need to just have these machined in steel. The 737 maintenance manual calls for setting the roll centering to at least 13 pound inches at only 2 degrees of deflection. The values acceptable can be up to 120.25 pound-inches at 75 degrees roll deflection. The elevator force at 145 knots per the maintenance manual should be about 19 pounds at 2 degrees of deflection and 35 pounds at 7 degrees. The test calls for a airspeed to 370 to equal 37.5 pounds at only 2 degrees of column deflection, that would be upwards of 100 at full deflection. On a non force feedback set up like yours, you would want to set the controls to approach speed forces.
Disclaimer-The elevator forces in the maintenance manual are for elevator surface deflection, I had to convert them to column deflection. The ratio should be 1:1 but in the real airplane the cable tensions between the column and feel and center unit in the tail would probably cause the yoke to feel to vary slightly away from what I calculated.

Still no intention to build a sim myself. Watching anyway, though. Entertaining indeed. Also I did like that Vlog vibe when you were walking around the house holding your camera... could do this more often, if you asked me.

Morning from Italy Heli Mech! First of all wow! What an impressive and brilliant job you are doing! Managing work, this project, and the website together must be very difficult but you are killing It!
I am working on a different project and i have truble with wire connections, from the power supply unit to the hardware pins. I have been working on it for weeks but i feel there is something missing. If you could fine a bit of free time to explain how you physically made the wirings i would be very grateful.
In the meantime you earned a subscriber! 👍🏻
