Today Kirkaldy, tomorrow the world! This is Stevie at his best (although I have to say his falsetto was suffering a wee bit after all the excesses of the previous performances). But his chest voice reigns supreme here, and still gives me chills. For me Stevie was a deserved winner, bringing commitment, passion, artistry and courage into the competition. I love the fact that he may now be able to bring a few of his own songs to a bigger audience, because he is a fine writer and deserves this break. I'll be buying the single at midnight and I will be following this fellow as a true fan from now on. It's been a real pleasure to follow a home grown lad on this wonderful journey. I think music fans all over the world will warm to this genuine man and and his honest talent, and I really wish Stevie McCrorie every success. I will look forward to albums and tours in the years to come. Brilliant! Thank you Stevie McCrorie!

I particularly enjoyed Bo Bruce's album, which I understand sold quite well. The difference here might be that Stevie is already an accomplished writer, and if he can bring some of that to a wider audience then those of us who want to follow him will do just that. In any case, this isn't a moment for cynicism. At least give the guy a few hours to enjoy the fruits of his hard work! And I sincerely hope he proves you wrong!

Can't say how happy I am tonight :-) I was working gig and when I came out of the photo pit and my friend told me Stevie had one I did a ridiculous happy dance and squealed rather loudly then started crying and had to go and hide until I was back in control!! Just got the single on iTunes as soon as I walked in. Bring on the album and tour!!
I cannot describe the feeling every time I hear him sing, especially this song. From the first millisecond I heard his voice I felt he deserved to win. I am not even a follower of The Voice but I hoped for him to be the one and I am now very extremely happy he has won!. Congratulations!
