My hair is 4 years and still looks like it did at 2 years😭. The funny thing is I don't get a lot of breakage so I'm wondering where all the supposed 'new growth' is going. I'll try your tips and see how things go.
Thank you for this video Lool, it’s always your drama for me😂😂😂 My natural hair is a little over 3 yrs but I just understood “retaining length” this year, I just knew I didn’t like seeing my hair break…..If only I knew since😂😂😂😂 Anyways we move😂😂😂
My hair is basically always dry. I know why from this video. I hate bonnets or scarves! I just can’t stand them. I’d get satin pillowcases soon. Thank you for the video sweet ❤.
I was actually shocked at the reactions I got from that TikTok video I referred to. I really did think 3 years was considered a normal length of time to for this length of hair but those reactions made me realize it’s really not
You actually changed my haircare journey in 2020. I randomly came across that video you put together on tiktok "the affordable haircare product", and i followed that. It totally changed my hair, ( Thank you 🤗 😘) i saw changes, created my own routine, but i got lazy, and now I'm just on and off with it 😂. I also saw another video about not applying raw oils to the hair. But, do you recommand hot oil treatment before washing?
I’m so honored to have inspired you to start. Now I want to encourage you not to get tired. If the extra things are too much, stick to the basics and you’ll be fine🫶🏾
I love oils (luckily my hair can go either way) I just made an Ayurvedic one for my scalp and hair shafts. I used a diy spray for my scalp. Man fax! I cannot work up the strength for a weekly wash day I just tried to wash my hair to try to do biweekly and I almost passed out and I’m going to be pro longing in my wash day yet again 😂😂
Exactlyyyy but since I cut oils, product buildup has been a lot slower, I don’t have to have too many washdays and I save myself a lot of time on the weekdays 😂
I did a bit of both. I transitioned for about 4 months but I got tired of it because it seemed like my hair wasn’t growing out well so I cut off all my relaxed hair (leaving me with low cut) and continued from there. I think I prefer big chop, you get to really focus on your natural hair and watch it grow and flourish from start to finish
Yeah I get that. It took me a while to understand that it’s ok to learn and try some tips on the internet (that make sense to you) but ultimately, listen to you hair and how it reacts to those tricks and hacks. You can pick what works best and stick with it
I'm a small business owner of whole natural haircare and skincare products. I just want to say the problem is not oil it products with synthetic oil and by-products.

The good news it you know dear. Now you’re on your way to your hair goal!!
And yes, as long as I’m me, I will be dramatic!!!🤪

Anybody saying 3 years is long has probably never tried to grow hair😭😭😭😭, or has really good hair genes

I have never done it before. I consider it one of the “extra” processes and I’m all for basic haircare.

@@the.olamidefred lol, alright. Thank you.
It's your drama for me😂😂
I’ve been less dramatic in my recent videos. I really need to bring that back
@@the.olamidefredlol😂 yes
What if you have unequal hair?? Will you do a big chop?
Thankfully, I don’t but if I did, I’d get a trim
@@the.olamidefred I mean.. If the front of your hair is longer than the back and middle of your hair
Love your personality, new subscriber ❤️
Yayyy thank you😊❤️
Thank you. I spotted my error.

Me🤝🏾skipping washday
I do try to be conscious of how my scalp feels though. But if it ain’t complaining, I’m gonna skipppppp😂
Whenever I have too much products, my scalp starts to feel really heavy…. No one needs to tell me it’s time to wash
Thank you again sis

Thank you for this insightful video ❤
Glad it was helpful!
My natural hair is not even up to a year and i just want it soft😭😩😩

Did you transition or you big chopped? Which do you think is better?

Are you getting a silk press one day soon?
Well yeah… once I over come my fear of it😂😂
I just stumbled on this video. So do you still use the mega growth oil to pre poo? Also, where did you get gush leave in please?
Nope I left prepooing a longggg time ago. I got the conditioner from Ebeano supermarket
@@the.olamidefred oh wow, Guess I have a lot to learn but it’s hardddd seeing so many videos and conflicting advice here and there 🤦♀️
