Vic pilot, I fly forster, port Macquarie area every now and again. Where did you take off just south of Indian Head? Easy access and what direct was the wind?
@@hommuside I feel super safe there. However, paragliding is more dangerous the closer you fly to the ground as that’s where you risk impact. Just need to always make sure you have an out and be extra careful flying with a tail wind. Also set up lower down on the beach so as not to get blown over the back. I’ve been meaning to do a “flying the dunes 101” video. The dunes being low does require winds to be a bit stronger to fly them, but I’m often surprised with what I can get away with. For me personally, this low style of proximity flying is my favourite.
@@AussieDangerDave Thanks Dave. Yeah I guess it makes sense. The lower you are the less time you have to correct in the event of a collapse or similar. Thanks for you're insight mate. Subbed.
Nice! Inspiring video, good editing and awesome flying!
Nice Video. Totally envious of the dune flying. All I have here in Switzerland is mountains, Big mountains.
The dunes are great fun. Easy flying compared to those mountains that you have! Lol
Dune gooning with Dave!
Yeww! :)

Awesome.........
Thanks and likewise! Loved the video you did of the condo soaring
what was the wind speed?
Between 12 and 15 knots that day I think.
Awesome!
Would you say this is a safer way to paraglide?

Some of the camera video quality looked fantastic...... @2.45 for example.
Thanks. Be sure to check the video settings as most videos are available up to 4K :)
