don't use flatpaks ever. i made the mistake. it sucks. the registry of a 10 year running windows is cleaner than a linux that had flatpacks used. "when to use flatpak" NEVER EVER! if you love windows or pre branded smartphones but think "this isn't bloated enough I WANT 10000 TIMES MORE BLOAT" then you use flatpak. example: install any flatpak with a unique name (protontricks in my case) unisntall it then uninstall delete data then unsintallunused then open file manager, search computer for the name of the flatpak and see that your computer still is loaded with tons of files from it. windows registries on a 5 year used system is cleaner than a linux system that uses flatpak
