I have not done that flow yet but the "you can always skip the vinyasa" totally got me ^^ (I like to watch a flow before doing it ). This teacher seems interesting, I'll look further into what he does !

Wonderful class, Calvin's instructions are so clear and easy to follow. It's incredible how holding a pose for one or two minutes can make you sweat so much! Also, loved the core work at the end
Too quick to see, hear, do and learn in synch. with my breath. I slowed down the video to half speed to find a pace that worked for me, but the voice become odd. Can't fault the friendly Calvin otherwise. Great lighting and sound.
It was fast, but thats not necessarily bad! was a bit annoyed at first, but every yoga teacher is different, and brings different benefits and challenges with them. Im glad i was able to enjoy it towards the end by changing my mindset.. 😅 Great content!
What's funny...the first Vira I (warrior I) sequence was too fast for me so I held them longer not knowing what was coming!! Thank you Calvin for a challenging yet releasing yoga practice. Loved it!
This is a really mixed and challenging class-starts off so fast with the rapid sun salutations, and then holding poses for two minutes. The ab work was tough and the stretches at the end fantastic. Found this class quite different and refreshing. Another WholeHealth team Zoom yoga practice done!

one observation / was it just me? i had a hard time understanding Calvin's speech at times. I found it sped up and hard to decipher the instructions. certainly not towards the end, but at least 1/3 to 1/2 the time. I'm a native speaker of US English with family from elsewhere and consider myself to have a good ear with accented speech, but I found myself struggling to listen for steps and getting sidetracked in the process. other than that, marvelous movement sequencing. a true challenge for me. joining this 30day series, i'm practicing yoga for the first time in months. thank you for helping me reintegrate physical yoga to my life, i hope to build as regular a practice as I had a couple years ago.

This was a good sequence that was the proper amount of challenge. Some of the prompts could have acknowledged more parts of the body than one concentrated part. I would have benefited from more explanation of mind-body awareness and explanation of mind-body effects of poses.
Good session, the planks and holds were a welcome challenge. The instructor just seemed uninspired to me, and the speed/flow was more on the intermediate level and up, beginners would hardly be able to understand and keep up with the instructions.
It was a great core and abs workout… I just felt there was no connection to the class at all, like he was just practicing himself and saying out loud what he was doing
The cueing was unclear - often I couldn't tell what he wanted me to do without getting up and looking at the video. Also the first half moved very fast, so I kept falling behind and having to skip a pose.
Good strengthening class, long standing holding poses for strength building.
On 11/4/23 the core workout was intense 😮, glad 😆 I compile successfully 😊. Thanks Calvin for the groundingflow

This is why i don't like male yoga teachers, they think that yoga is like crossfit.
I hate it. First part is too quick, second part is strange static poses and the third one is just an abs workout, wtf
