Adore every single boot you have bought! I love it when you honestly find lots of positive things about every item. I do wish we could get an update 2 months into their lifespan! I feel boot quality really shows a few months in.
Your testing basics videos are seriously my favourite videos on TH-cam, I love how in depth you go with everything without waffling and the price ranges you go for. Also it's so great how honestly you disclose PR samples and the fact that they don't always mysteriously end up being your favourites makes me really trust your opinion when you DO love something that was given to you as a PR sample or with a discount. The fact that you take the time to write down and link everything in the description and even address things like some people being vegan and not wanting leather shoes is something I really respect about you as well. Basically your videos are fantastic and you deserve every single subscriber!
The Whistles Belmont boots are a great alternative to the the Acne Jensen boots, and are only £185 - I've had mine for a few months and they're wearing really well. (They also come in Leopard and Zebra prints if you're feeling daring!) xx

I love the Acne boots but I got the grain one. When I got them they rubbed my ankles but I kept wearing them and it's comfy. I love that it goes with everything and it gives your outfits a cool look.
This video came at a perfect time for me. I've been wanting to get a flat black boot for a while and I'm ready to pick out a pair now. So this was a perfect video and now I just have to make my decision. I do really love the Acne boots, but they're all really beautiful .The Uterque is a beauty too. And I like the chunky sole on the And Other Stories. But in the end I may get a pair of the Asos too. It wouldn't hurt to have a couple pair - and you can't beat that price for a leather boot. Anyway, thanks for this video Lizzy. It was really good - as usual.
Most people have one foot that is slightly larger than the other and that could be why you right foot got blisters (my right foot is slightly larger than my left) or your right foot could just swell more. My favorites were the Kurt Geiger!

Love your testing basics Lizzie! I think your right foot must be slightly bigger - just like mine 😊😊 I basically try shoes on using my larger foot as the guide. I learned that the hard way. Your left shoe will always be a bit bigger but ça va!
Lizzie, love all your Testing Basics! Perhaps you should go up a half size to accommodate your right foot. I find that a thin, leather insole in my smaller foot helps.
Hi Lizzy, I've enjoyed watching your testing basics series. They are so informative and useful. Have you had your feet measured. My right foot is 1/2 size bigger than my left, that's why I get blisters only on my right foot. I sometimes buy 2 pairs of the same shoes and wear the right foot in a 5 1/2 and the left foot in a 5. It's a little wasteful because I have no use for the pair that don't fit, but I don't end up with any blisters. Hope this helps. 😉
I really like the look of the Acne boots so much so, that I ordered the Marc Fisher boots that are practically identical. Those boots are very comfortable. Great series.

Your videos seem so long when you look at the time, then you start watching them and they're over so fast. Like seriously in a flash. Everyone's feet are two different sizes. That's probably why you keep getting blisters on the one foot.

I had always heard that the larger foot corresponded with your handedness so if you were right handed your right foot was bigger. However, that has to be an old wives tale. I'm right handed and my left foot is my bigger foot as well. Oh the mysteries of life. :)

I emailed Acne about it and they told me they can't do anything about it because I didn't but it from their website. So now they just sit in a box at the back of my closet.

Price rises are a consequence of brexit and the fact that the pound is now not worth the same against the euro and dollar as it was a few months ago. A lot of brands from abroad are now more expensive for us a result unfortunately. On a lighter note, I love the look of the & other stories boots.

The ASOS look as you said more high-end. They reminded me a little bit of the Givenchy boots I don't know they just have a nice vibe about them

i wear my flat ankle boots a lot also but i just got two pairs of block healed ones and these have become my go to boots over the flat ones.
