Aoa, I am male nurse have a 12 year experience in critical care from Aga Khan hospital.
Firstly, I have enough knowledge and skills to handle the health issues of elderly.
Secondly, I am taking care of my parents also from last two years therofore I have practical experience of handling elderly at home.
Thirdly, during my studies and job I closely observe the elderly day care concept of Aga Khan community in Karachi.
Moreover, Pakistan is introducing helath card so I can also help them to avail the helath facilities.

Zeeshan Bhai, great idea. I don't have land or property; otherwise, I would've initiated this with you. But I do want to give a suggestion. Don't call it Old Age Home. Name it something that makes our seniors feel a little comfortable and happy to live in, rather than being ashamed. I would suggest going with "Senior Citizens Center of Excellence" or something similar. If I were to open it today, I would use this name.

What a beautiful idea; indeed I've been thinking on same lines during 6 yrs because I'm at my father's service whos stroke pt right side paralysis his service includes physical rehabilitation, medical consultations, daily routine tasks & wellbeing . I felt urge if my father suffering physically, emotionally & socially so what if we lay down a setup where elderly people are brought together for their clinical & social rehabilitation. It would psychologically make them feel much more better than anyother support specially when they're surrounded with likewise age group people having top notch facilities to live their lives better way. I appreciate the idea.

سر انتہائی ادب سے ایک سوال عرض کرنا چاہوں گا اکثر و بیشتر غریب گھرانوں میں والدین کا خیال نہیں رکھا جاتا اور وہ جو تعلیم یافتہ نہیں ہوتے تو کیا وہ ذیادہ مستحق نہیں..؟
جو تعلیم یافتہ ہیں وہ کسی نا کسی طریقے سے اپنا نظام چلا رہے ہیں تو کیا اس سے وہ نیک مقصد پورا ہو گا...؟
بھائ مسائل تو پڑھے لکھے گھرانوں میں بھی ہوتے ہیں مثلاً میں ایک ایسے صاحب کو جانتی ہوں جن کے والد بوڑھے ہیں اور والدہ کا انتقال ہو چکا۔ یہ صاحب روزانہ دفتر چلے جاتے ہیں اور پیچھے ان کی بیگم چاھتے ہوے بھی اپنے سسر کو اس لیے نہیں سنبھال پاتیں کیوں کہ ان کی بیٹی autistic child

اختلاف رکھنے والوں سے عرض: آپ اکثریت کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے سوچیں کہ ہمارے معاشرے میں عملی طور پر ماں باپ کے ساتھ اولاد کیا برتاؤ رکھ رہی ہے؟ والدین کے بڑھاپے کا مکمل مکمل فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے ان کے جذبات کا خون کیا جاتا ہے۔اور وہ لبوں کو سی کر زندگی کے بقیہ دن گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں۔روزمرہ کے معاملات میں نہ چاہتے ہوئے بھی اولاد کی ہاں میں ہاں ملانے پر مجبور ۔

Brilliant idea and I’m sure there are plans to deal with health issues . For instance when these people who are around 60 when they join and are qualified have served for 10/15 years , suddenly develop some terminal illness. where do they go? Are there any plans of a hospice unit where they can spend their remaining time and be taken care of.

Assalamualaikum! I'm Dr. Amna Mukhtar, 83rd badge graduate from King Advurd Medical College. I am 70 years old and have served as a gynecologist at Poly Clinic for several years. My husband worked as a manager at Holiday Inn. Our life was smooth, peaceful, and happy. Unfortunately, after four years of marriage, my husband passed away in a road accident. At that time, I had only one son who was suffering from a disease that couldn't be treated in Pakistan. So, I took him to America for treatment while continuing my practice as a gynecologist. I also dedicated myself to my son's studies and helped him become a doctor.
Once my son became a doctor, we both decided to return to Pakistan and contribute to the betterment of the people. We worked in different NGOs, aiming to help those in need. Tragically, my son had a fatal accident one day, leaving me alone and without anyone to rely on. I sought refuge with my brothers, and despite the loss, I continued my charitable work. I am unable to discuss my family, but I believe that Allah knows everything and may He conceal everyone's deeds. When I was 67 years old, I fell and fractured my hip bone while getting into my car. This incident rendered me bedridden, and since then, I have been residing in an old home for the past three years.
Living conditions in the old home are challenging, but I am grateful for the support they provide. Although the money and donations made in our names do not reach us, I refrain from mentioning the dire conditions here because the old home has taken on the responsibility of caring for me. Despite my circumstances, I am still able to change my diapers while sitting and even prepare allopathic medicines for patients who come here seeking help.
Nevertheless, I pray that Allah spares anyone from being dependent on others. During my time at the old home, my son Talha and my beautiful daughter Fatima visit me when they can, and they genuinely care for me. However, they are young and busy with their studies and colleges. Through them, I met Anila Naseeb and Major Naseeb, who have become my family. They took me to CMH, where I received a check-up from skilled doctors, giving me hope that I will regain the ability to walk. I am determined to fulfill my dreams and help others in a humble way. Anila and Major Naseeb have assured me that my operation will begin soon, and they plan to relocate me from the old home since it has been three months without a shower, subjecting me to unbearable and unsanitary conditions.
Now, I place my hope in Allah, believing that He will heal me and grant me the ability to walk again. I kindly request everyone to assist me in funding my operation, which is estimated to cost 8 lakhs. I humbly ask for your support in fulfilling my dream of standing on my own feet once more.
May Allah bless you and grant you the strength to overcome these challenges

Sir, I have heard far worse stories and have witnessed sons beating up their parents quite often. People do not talk about that because we don't want to admit because of pride. Then there are people who are ok but their parent or parents live alone in Pakistan. My aunt's children settled abroad in various countries. She lived alone and lots of sad story about her last days.
