It's the biggest project Armin van Buuren has ever worked on. 2 years of hard work, producing and jamming came together in 16 highlights of tracks, to be found on 'Mirage'. This musical journey emerged as the fourth album of the Dutch superstar, including collaborations with the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ferry Corsten, BT, Nadia Ali, Guy Chambers, Christian Burns and Adam Young of Owl City. As Armin likes to put it:"It's been a journey, an epic one."
'Mirage' received golden status in The Netherlands and Poland, and is nominated for a Dutch Edison Award. To celebrate this wonderful feat and provide Armin's fans something extra special, we now present the Deluxe Edition of 'Mirage'. This must-have package includes the original album and bonus tracks, as well as a CD with previously unreleased remixes of the tracks, not to be found on 'Mirage -- The Remixes'. Last but not least, the Deluxe Edition also contains a DVD with all music videos of the single releases, as well as many, many extra's!

Blue Fear is known to be Armin's first trance track which he produced by accident, while tinkering at the studio!

Guetta makes pop-house, in the past he used to do true house music... For true house, Tiesto is a good famous example. Armin and Nilsen, on the other hand, are trance producers. While I like Armin's music and don't care much for Guetta, Guetta's music are better for masses, it doesn't have much musical quality but it is catchy. Armin's music is for those who value real creativity, and also had the chance to see late 90s club scene in all its glory.

The masterpiece will live on in the longrun...no one knows it, it's more difficult to get into or appreciate because at first it 'may' or 'may not' grasp you immediately. But it simply grows and grows on you containing so much depth and passion you begin to come to terms with its beauty. Yes, I strongly feel Guetta's music sounds like it's for 2 yr olds and for people with low attention spans. Listen to ASOT 2012 and witness a masterpiece!
