- This is 2006's Bully by Rockstar Games. The story follows the student of Jimmy Hopkins as he is sent to Bullworth Academy by his parents. On this part Jimmy confronts Gary and saves the school.

A Couple of things:
Edgar never went to school in the first place, so he couldn't be reinstated.
Jimmy's mom is still in a cruise, since the final chapter never ends she never appears again.
If you do the Hobo mission during the night it makes more sense, he was abducted by aliens, you can see the beam of light coming from above.

When Jimmy said to Gary “But I never did anything to you!”, you can hear the pain and anger in his voice.
Jimmy just wanted to be left alone at Bullworth. Ironically, he never wanted to take over the school, that was Gary’s dream and he lost it _twice_ ! He got what he deserved.
Gary made an enemy out of a friend, and it cost him. To think if he had just left Jimmy alone or even became his friend, he wouldn’t be on the mess that he is right now.
Who knows what will happen to Gary after this?

Bully will always be my favorite Rockstar game. The reason why Bully is still relevant today is because there is nothing like it nowadays and that's why this game deserves a sequel. Unfortunately, I lost faith in Rockstar because they don't take risks anymore and they will only continue franchises that make a lot of money. A game like Bully doesn't even need a 2 billion dollar budget to be very good. What makes me like Bully much more than GTA is the fact that a lot of NPCs, mostly just students, have their own personality and it makes them very memorable.

The phrase Gary used was a common saying to describe prostitutes. In one of the cutscenes Jimmy says that Gary is telling people that Jimmy's mom slept with Dr C. to get him in the school.

Apparently, he was supposed to be the main antagonist of this game instead of Gary. I think Rockstar changed it so players won't feel like they're doing a coup d'etat against the education system and instead rewrote it to be about stopping delinquents from destroying the school.
The Bully artworks had Jimmy and Mr Crabblesnitch facing off each other. Looking like they’re going to face each other in the climax
Crabblesnitch being the main antagonist makes no sense. What was Jimmy going to do? Chase him to the roof and beat him into becoming a better principal?

Wasn't Russell also supposed to be a late game antagonist, back when he was part of the Punk faction? His beta Punk appearance is even shown in the main menu, which is basically concept art for the game.
I think the reason why Rockstar don't make Crabblesnitch a corrupt authoritarian in the final version of Bully is Rockstar cannot make Crabblesnitch as intimidating and memorable as Tenpenny from GTA SA
Fun facts:
Beta version of bully had a chapter 7 in which the last mission took place at the graveyard.
Also, in the gym is burning mission.. the mission soft locks when when the door is shut
The real version if that mission is you chase the arsonist into the townie part of town. When he gets away, you stumble upon zoes house.
Which makes much more sense in terms of the story
The ego on Gary in the climax. Truly turned the school into an anarchy zone. In cyberpunk slang; a combat zone.

Honestly, I thought it was hilarious what happened to Dr. Crabblesnitch. And well deserved. How a man with an advanced degree and years of experience in education and discipline let someone such as Gary get the drop on him? I get that Gary is a very skilled trickster, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dr. C were to be fired by the Board Of Trustees after this fiasco.

Same, I’m replaying this game right now and I just finished “The Rumble” mission.
Gary's boss fight is one of the best final boss themes I've ever heard. Listening to the low-intensity version as he was explaining how he was planning from the shadows besides a few brief appearances and the high-intensity version as Jimmy lays the smackdown on his psychopath self was fitting.
Also I'm sure you could get the transistor/gnome/G&G card/rubber band locations through classes, forgot which ones though.
I believe it's the Geography class that eventually reveals the hidden items. Once the appropriate level of the class is completed, I think one type of hidden item is revealed, or a couple at a time

yup 100% geography, makes it easier without having to look up guides.
Also guys, you DON'T need to do the Townie missions before Complete Mayhem, I'm still able to access them at night without any problem.
Fun fact: at the end of the final mission it seem Gary was supposed to die,but it got removed when the game released.
Another amazing gameplay series completed. Also, if I remember correctly, the “Endless Summer” chapter is also the name of an achievement in Red Dead Redemption 2

I guess the homeless veteran was collecting those transistors to create something to communicate with aliens and ultimately get abducted by them.
I love Bully but to me the ending always felt a little rushed, you barely meet the townies and then you beat Edgar and they're on your side already. You have those secondary mission with Clint that seem completely disconnected to the rest of the game, you don't even see him after that, instead we could have some missions with Edgar or both of them to make sense of Edgar and Jimmy coming together at the end. Anyway this is my childhood game, but if they ever do a remake I wish they'd make the story a little longer, especially in the last chapter. Bully is definitely the most unique game Rockstar ever made. Whoever played this game in their childhood have some everlasting memories of those times.
Honestly is quite interesting how you pick up instantly on gary being a psychopat at the start of your playthrough. In your dimitri video your description about psychopats not only fits dimitri but also Gary, noticeably you mention that psychopaths have little regard for the future, dimitri would had keep betraying people in spite of the enemies he was causing, meanwhile gary little plan was destined for failure, mainly because if it wasn’t jimmy the one breaking up the riots it would had been the police, the only reason why the police isn’t storming the school is due to the gates being sealed, that didn’t stopped russel so the police would had eventually broken the door too, or just found the door that Russel opened. Hell gary little speech during he final battle was heard by the principal, pretty much confessing to his role on the riot and getting expelled, if Gary had more hindsight he would had won, but he preferred to cause a riot and brag about his plan, leading to his downfall.
Also, in the mission where Gary betrays jimmy he mentions that he stopped taking his medicine, so probably Gary mental issues were detected by either his family or the school and was put on medication, when he stopped his medication he became paranoid and betrayed jimmy.

Watching this playthrough makes me feel sad. Bully 2 got canceled. Although I wonder if that game would've had a new protagonist set years after bully 1 or continue directly after the events of bully 1

Not 100% cancelled they have tried making it at least 2 or 3 times and still could for how much more popular the game has been the last few months especially cus last year there was word on active development on bully 2 for atleast 2 years they are just working on gta 6

Now it would be cool if it were a new generation of kids with Jimmy at Bullworth either living in town as some kind of factory worker and possibly giving the player a mission or maybe being brought back as a teacher. Would also like to see Pete as the headmaster, like the original game promised.
I'm actually happy it got cancelled, nothing good can come out of Rockstar in the current time and age, if they actually made bully 2 it would be woke boring trash and suck hard, probably style over substance like most modern games

Russell's *"I beat people for peace"* always be my favourite line that came out from him apart from when he's on Jimmy's side when he took the cliques' leaders and two of their respective friends down (I don't know why Edgar just beat three of Russell's cliques before Russell protected Jimmy when the prefect ground him up and snatched) and I relieved that Gary was defeated by Jimmy after he almost got him especially when he got all the cliques apart from Bullies turned their backs on Jimmy and especially when he got teachers (I guess except for Ms. Phillips and Mr Galloway since Mr. Burton and Mr. Hattricks got fired), prefects and Mr. Crabblesnitch on his side
Yeah the bullies should have rallied behind Russel and helped jimmy.
Watching this makes me wanna replay the story mode again.

Gary goes to the asylum but odd everyone just forgets and not angry at Jimmy anymore Burton and Hattrick both lose their teaching license too
This last mission is the equivalent of the Los Santos fights in San Andreas. The Gary fight was easier for the satisfaction of beating the crap out of him. For a high-schooler, Gary's one of R*'s best antagonists. And like I've always said, Jimmy was always one of the only sane and moral people in the game (along with Pete)
no its mainly due to the fact that gary is a mastermind not a fighter,yes he can throw hands but with all the strength and skills we aquire throughout the story,gary is a cakewalk. that is also one of the main reasons he manipulated others to fight for him and avoided jimmy after betraying him,we all know jimmy could destroy him easily at any point in the story.

Great walkthrough. Now it's the lore vids. And originally, I'm sure Gary was supposed to die in the final mission, but it would make Bully rated M instead of T, so he just got beaten up and expelled in the final. Would love to hear a more fleshed out analysis from Prof on the story, characters, etc. There's so much cut content and trivia and references to other media in the game.

I also think that bully teach about with great power came with great responsibility. When Jimmy unite the school and become the king, he doesnt listen to Pete about Gary and his arrogancy lead to his expulsion from the school. Anyways Gary is just like the Devin of bully both of them are manipulative and like to show off.

This series was really fun to watch and I’m gonna miss tuning in everyday to watch.
35:25 you were basically correct though, garry actually would have died in the earlier versions of the game but they cut it out. It makes sense because its a game made for kids and they wanted to avoid bans on the game just like how they removed hot coffee from gta san andreas. There were also many other things cut from bully such as underwear models from the female students of bullworth and also Jimmy could die during one of the missions where he attacks the townies with Zoë's help but it was also cut.
When I played bully the first time I did the class during the storyline missions to make the process go longer. I feel like if I just did the storyline missions it would make the game go in fast too quickly. It worked out in the end. I got skills to boost up my weapons as well as getting a kiss from girls as well learning new moves and the process made my gameplay of Bully seem long longer.
I'm glad you played this game. Brings back great memories hope you do some more videos on this game.

It's been really refreshing for me to see someone playing it for the first time considering ive played this game probably over 100 times. Its probably my favorite rockstar game of all time. A big theory is when Gary and Jimmy go through the principals office window they both actually died (the reason why everything all of the sudden goes his way) and endless summer is purgatory

35:29 in the beta the game was supposed to be darker gary was meant to die at the end, jimmy had a chance of dying if he lost in the edgar in the acid, the panty raid mission and the taking pictures of mandy mission were changed and were supposed to be more nsfw like a topless lola and pajamas for all the girls that were more explicit.

I never played bully. But I can see why it has been considered as one of the more requested Play thrus.
Funny thing is that it's theorized that both Jimmy and Gary died at the end hence why it's called endless summer and how everyone went from fighting to stopping and how the school was miraculously returned to normal and it stopped raining when Jimmy walked out the main building of the academy

I'm definitely looking forward to the 100% completion livestream, because this is one of the games worth getting 100%, or at least as close to 100% as possible.
It's worth finishing all the classes, and it's kinda unfortunate that most classes you completed like biology and music classes were the ones added in Scholarship Edition, because most of them only rewarded cosmetics instead of actual useful features.
You should also experiments with your items in your inventory, whether on fights or toward unsuspecting people, and test out different humiliation acts.
It's also worth buying clothes in all the shops around town, win the carnival prizes, winning all the races and collect all collectibles.
I would also like to see a character analysis or lore video too, you can learn about lots of characters by eavesdropping in their conversation or hearing them commentating out loud.

Great game, ending felt kinda rushed. Definitely feels like they wanted to add more but didn't. I remember when I went into the final mission I took all the precautions, fully stocked weapons bottlerocket launcher, potato gun, firecrackers. Extra hp buff. Saved everything for the final fight... and the game just confiscates all your weapons. Was pretty funny.
