    It'd have to be an extremely great job to even consider moving to Tornado Alley.

      Really like what? Prostitution? What "job" would you sell your good sense for? There is NO job or amount of money that would get me to move to anywhere else. I live on the best spot on the planet.

      Tornado ally has moved east and south.

      @@janiekcarney5482 nonsense. It is dependent entirely on sea surface temperatures and the Northern Pacific Oscillation on where and the frequency of tornadoes in the United States. This occured on a transition year between La Nina, going to El Nino. El Nino has favorable tornado development over the central and southern plains. La Nina tends to favor the deep south. This narrative of tornado alley "shifting" is fabricated and consumed by those who know nothing about weather patterns.

      There are natural disasters in all parts of the country. Fires, hurricane, snow, cold, heat, flooding. The chances of your home getting hit by a tornado are actually pretty small.

      @@lynnbetts4332 Tell that to Moore, Oklahoma! They’ve been hit with EF 5 tornadoes twice!

    • @pauldarling810
      @pauldarling810 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@terrywade3696 they were indeed hit with EF5's twice but only 4 homes were hit by both EF5 tornadoes. (the 4 homes hit by both tornadoes happen to be where the 2013 tornado crossed the 1999 tornadoes path)

      @@pauldarling810 However, hundreds of homes were wiped out in both storms both times.

    • @lynnbetts4332
      @lynnbetts4332 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@terrywade3696 And Houston and the Gulf Coast have been hit by multiple hurricanes. California by wildfires multiple times. Every place has their dangers. You have to look at the probability. The probability of the tornado taking the exact same path twice is very slim. Paths are usually fairly narrow, so one street may be decimated, but 2 streets over, no damage at all.
