@@hearthatbeepmetaldetecting9490 Tip on the brownies! (1&2c) keep a few in your kit & when you get curious kids you can share the love. Many haven’t seen them & think they are true treasure & it sparks the flame for the next generation!
Are these solid gold coins?? People here in the U.S. have metal detected their whole lives and haven't found a gold coin lol you found one on the first target!! Nice find!
@@hearthatbeepmetaldetecting9490 I found a 1905 Canadian silver 25c it’s a semi key date and it’s in good shape could be worth up to 350$ I’ll never sell it but just that one find may have payed for the detector
@@treasurehuntingnewyork5979 Yeah that's awesome! All it takes is one find to pay it off. I've pulled out 6 rings in the past few weeks (videos to come) and they all would've paid off the detector 3x in just the price of the diamond/gold
@@hearthatbeepmetaldetecting9490 that’s good to here my friend still no gold yet for me but it’s a pretty humble place where I am I’m lucky to find the old silvers here and there I got about 30 lbs of lead scrap though I could make some fishing weight
Hey there, I’ve started detecting, same set up as you and been using your videos on what to do - so far found a good few coffees worth of Goldie’s :) can I ask where did you buy your digging tool? Brand/model etc - or what you use now as I know these videos are a bit older now.
minelab vanquish 440 or 340 it will be able to discover 60-70cm depth of ancient treasure pot in teapot size full of silver or gold ? And what mode should be set in order to dig gold and silver to a depth of 50-60 cm in the field or forest soil?
Disappointed, I was expecting gold sovereigns not 1and2 dollar coins. A little click bait with the title perhaps, Well you got me. But interesting to watch though.
Nice! Victorian from the West here. Finding the lockdown 5k limits hard! Thanks for getting me out there!!
It's extremely hard at the moment. Luckily I have several parks within 5km so I've got some more footage and finds coming shortly :)

Standard $1 Australian coin. Not gold.
I’ve noticed the vanquish is good with the mid tones It’s a good machine it’s been good to me
It certainly is a great machine. Probably the best you can buy for the price in my opinion.

In that case is there many other detectorists around? The amount of lead sinkers I find on the beach here is crazy
I'm down Seaford way and have the vanquish 540 as well. Good little machine so far!
Found much ?

Well, i found gold with Vanquish from vdi 2 up to 23 so you might reconsider the discrimination segments😁.

Do you need a permit at all? I want to get into the hobby but don't want to get in trouble although I guess common sense goes a long way
Nice♥️😂
