This is how i escape tunnel: when I round the corner, I stop, but the police don’t think I stopped so they go full speed past me. If I’m in a small car, I turn around quickly, if I’m using a big truck or something, I just back up, turn around and full speed towards highway. If they are able to turn around fast, I’ll probably lose them in the city

Let's be honest , one of the best ways to escape from the cop is just to remember the map , remember where the trees are and go for the gap in-between the trees , most people don't remember the placements of the trees so yeah they would crash , always effective for me
Nah use the radar thingy forgot what its called and u can see where cops are then keep driving around a circle until cops realises that ur driving around and around so they would prob stop to put spikes or get ready to shoot and when u see them stop on minimap then drive off works for me
I have spent a year in ERLC learning skilled advanced driving. I can now do perfect turns on the right side of the road, still indicate and use horns, all whilst speeding at crazy speeds and escaping the police. Despite how cool and useful it is, it's not worth a year.
I am an advanced police driver, can keep up with pretty much any suspect even if they do those tricks like sharp turns. My only weakness is the few suspects that just slide off the main road onto the frozen lake (how do you keep up with that?)

I just go to the highway with a fast car and drift to turn around since cop cars can’t dirift they just ram into the tunnel wall

I found one more while playing erlc:
If you drive down the road at the jewelery store is, down to the police station, then if u have around 100 mph you can fly above the hill there on the middle and a bit to the left and then drive the dirt path behind the jail and the cops will be stuck at the hill there behind you.

The car you chose is actually the 2nd fastest civilian car in the game. It can reach speeds of up to 162 mph, second only to the Bugatti at 170. It's decently cheap too. I would recommend it to anyone new to the game looking to outspeed the cops.

If you and your friend have good chemistry then be cops and have 1 person stand on the roof and one driving a fast car, when you are not in pursuit have your handcuffs out if you are on top to see if anybody is wanted, if they are and they run away (in a car) then chase them and shoot their car (best if the person on top has a sniper). It is a very efficient tactic
I sometimes escape the police like this: Get this particular car, Corvette TZ, Go throughout tunnel, let them speed up alot get them into the wall go I parking garage, go through the trees at housing suburbs and it normally works, I also use this trick that I've found: Get any car, go up highrock go on the civ hill, go off the ramp go through trees at gun store go through FD 5 times, exit your car at the glitch building, get onto of the roof jump down Spawn a car, go to Springfield through the parking there jump off spawn another and there you've lost them with switching cars, Also I've got 1 more: Get a blacked out car, glitch onto of roof again, then teleport to ohio. Honest tip is that to go somewhere far like springfield or the Highway, then I run into highrock park with my vehicle parked far away, so if the cops see the car, there will be no one in the car

In my experience (driving the Sentinel Platinum) something that works great is hiding on the farms area, I usually get enough time to escape

lets admit everyone has different tactics i try to pit maneuver as soon as i can when im chasing someone like i got 5 or 6 people in the same server like a day or 2 ago from that tactic and i have my lights on when i know someone is gonna run and i arrested the same guy like 3 times bc of that lol and when im in combat i use the type 89 cuz its rlly effective shoots really fast and is really powerful at the same time
type 89 is actually really good for police. It's basically the police version of the ak47
3:02 thats actually normal if you have a slow pc and bad fps. what happens is the game does not load in time and then you will just fall off.
The problem is if the cops get close in a public server then they can get out and laser beam your car with a full auto gun and your screwed. Great vid though
Tatic: drive into parking up to second floor go down to duke them and drive thriugh fire station doors wait for them to get in middle of fire station and drive out of a another gate of fire station and boom but if that doesnt work after you get and they chase you drift around every corner until you get to housing suborns and then make them crash by doing circles then drive away quickly and do the fire station gates away then go hide behind the MOD repair area.

for my experience, all I do is go to downtown RIver City then just make fast left and right turns on the main roads, no shortcuts, I should be able to shake them off within 5-6 turns.
I do this but it is more effective with a car that has good acceleration. In my Bugatti I can shake them off in 2-3 turns. Sadly I don’t use the Bugatti that often.

Edit: Actual tip get onto the highway and floor it while keeping close to cops then turn into rock park and go up the hill then when you are at the top get speed and jump your car off the hill
erlc has some pretty stinky balance issues, notably with the very shabby equipment police are given and the weirdly overpowered items criminals have access to, police will eventually manage to take down the criminal, counting those who like to leave the game before they can be arrested.
it honestly comes down to whoever can outsmart the other, if the police aren't entirely smart, they'll be outpaced and criminals can get away and dominate, but when the police start getting smart and working together much more efficiently, then it becomes a difficult challenge for the average criminal.
In the end it's not really the equipment that matters lol, it's whoever is that little bit more clever.

True, around the time you wrote this comment or before, I outran 2 cops in an old Chevy Tahoe with one of the tires shot and 2 or 3 of my friends in it, which is as slow as the Impala. I was on the highway but I decided to just outmaneuver instead of go full speed on the highway because the other cars were faster than mine (one of them was a crown vic and the other a charger I think)

As a pro of escaping police I've used the tactic of decreasing my graphic level it takes a long time too fall to the limit and it resets you and going far away

Another way to lose cops is the ramp down on freedom ave and drift to the other side of the road and accelerate up the ramp
I think that we need a swat truck update that they will make a new swat truck (we will have 2) that has a machine gun and we need a new update with dirtbikes, motorcycles and a motocross offroad and big track

If police are ever heading at you go into their lane and go back into ur lane at the last moment, they will be trying to hit you head on so you change at the last moment they wont be able to hit u
u forgot wall glitching into areas for safe spots and gltich up the top of the building for sniping or being in a safe spot

What I do is drive in and out of the fire department though the doors
This is how i escape from the blin- i mean cops: i use either a fast car or a pickup for the sence and i ask a friend to get a M249 with a ammo crate and boom no cops will chase u iff they dont have a car to chase you
Note: even tough the SWAT Bearcat exist it's slow than most pickups and faster cars so it will only tank the damage but escaping from it its easy
Any smart officer can easily survive an m249.
The m249 is an indoor or close range gun and that’s it
How to escape the police: RUN
Try robbing a bank as a cop you will not get targeted
