I'd get that. Especially if it also included a new fridge, stove or toilet. Whenever I go to randomise one of those items, it always seems there's definitely fewer of them than there are of other things, and I've got a decent amount of packs built up by now (always bought on sale!)

Oh, wow, this house turned out amazing. The spandrels feel like such an authentic part of how a large one-story house (with it's big, heavy roof) might be built, and all kinda of other interesting features. Everything was well laid out and it seems like you didn't have to compromise much at all by the end. Foyer to kitchen archway was a perfect inclusion. If I was doing this shell, I'd probably try to take that largest piece and make it an entire second floor, then arrange the rest of the pieces underneath it for a first floor that makes sense. ...And maybe an unfinished, partially finished, or studio basement if that were allowed, since I love including basements for practical realism. Nothing makes the decoration of the rest of the house feel more purposeful then seeing a basement where there's a corner of the space that's been left completely unused, or that is decorated totally differently because it's like a separate apartment space that's been rented out or occupied by an adult child or extended family member, as is so common nowadays.
*Laughs in single wide trailer* The master bedroom being on one side of the house and the other bedrooms on the other with living/kitchen/dining in between is such a common set up in mobile homes. Growing up embarrassed of not living in an “actual house” it feels good to hear that set up seems fancy. 😅

I second what you said about plain couches and curtains. I think EA should make couches like they do with counters - instead of a couch as one item, it could be several separate items, like left, right, and middle pieces, which you can piece together to make loveseats or long couches or even sectionals. That way every couch can have a matching loveseat, which is honestly the dream.

If I tried this it'd end up like that time Doctor Mike tried to play the active doctor career in Sims 4, and his idea of a "house" was "take rooms from the gallery and smack them down RANDOMLY ALL OVER THE LOT" like, not even connected at all. I'd love to see a single story shell challenge, so many double story + shell challenges but rarely do you see amazing (non-modern, non-mid century) single story homes. Would be cool to see people try and make a large family single story house look good.
I tried this.... And let's just say I am not the next Simsie.
If I tried this it'd end up like that time Doctor Mike tried to play the active doctor career in Sims 4, and his idea of a "house" was "take rooms from the gallery and smack them down RANDOMLY ALL OVER THE LOT" like, not even connected at all. The whole time I kept thinking "Man, are you lucky you don't also have Seasons, because weather..."

This is so random but I’ve always loved the architecture and housing plus interior design from films so a series where you build houses from films would be epic. Particularly 90’s chick flicks I think could be cool. 10 things I hate about you and princess diaries are two that I love. Love your channel 💞

Just curtains, rugs, flowers, bunkbeds, more swatches in everything, a way to choose the bed frame and bedding seperatly, "better" furniture, better slots on surfaces, more furniture like tables, chairs, couches, ottomans, sidetables, lamps, wallights, and such, more clutter items, better swatches, more everything and above all more cowplants....
Tommy got banned three times and George only got banned once. Ironically, they got banned right after that vegan teacher did.
