It's the only one like it I've seen anywhere on TH-cam! Advice from someone who is constantly looking for new ambience videos to try out: keep making videos of things no one else has done! Even if it's super niche, like a single location from that one nostalgic video game or movie. Locations from old Disney movies might get you a lot of traffic -- old Disney movie ambience videos are big right now, but I don't see basically any for specific locations from specific movies, and I wish there were some! A great way to find ideas for videos that will get you a ton of traffic is to go to other ambience videos and read the comments sections. Ambience video fans like me leave comments ALL the time on those videos, suggesting stuff we'd love to see that no one has done yet. (Coraline is another really untapped goldmine with TONS of people who want more ambience videos of that) cheers!

I made this one because I adore the roost and its soundtrack and would love to be able to teleport into the game and study there, so figured this was the next best option! This is my childhood, this game is so beautiful it connects with so players from around the world. I’m still mad they are cutting online play for new leaf as I grew up with it. I find it hard to let things go that hold so many meanings to me. Animal Crossing is one of those games where it’s special and it brings you peace no matter how many challenges you face. Even if you leave for a while it never changes and brings those raw emotions you always felt playing it. I’m grateful for this community, we made this game special in all versions and I thank anyone that still plays or comes back for nostalgia, it instantly brings me to almost tears when I think what this game has been through during the years or listening to a peaceful song like this. It really is beautiful and I’ll hold this game and community in my heart forever. Thx for giving me a home, thx for anyone reading this and feeling the same way 🤍

I don’t know why, but the soft piano always made me so sad, even as a little girl. Maybe it was so soft and so sweet, almost a melancholy foreshadowing for the hardship and darkness that growing older brings. Maybe my body and heart knew it before my brain did. Having terrible anxiety today. Remembered that when I used to have terrible nightmares as a teenager, I would leave my DS open with my ACWW character inside the coffee shop. The music always seemed to keep the nightmares away. Glad to have found this today when I needed it 💜
Honestly thank you for uploading this. When I was a kid in middle school I didn't have a phone like the other cool kids but I was easily overwhelmed and detracted bc of my absurd hearing and adhd, so I'd pop out my dsl and hightail it to The Roost and just listen to it while doing my work. Most music now a-days detracts me but The Roost still works to block out distracting sounds and let me think. Thank you.
I didn't have the privilege to know about animal crossing as a little girl, but now that I'm grown, finishing art school, being apart from my family, Pocket camp has been my safe haven. I have to go buy at least a DS, wild world to keep in touch with my animal friends and safe space now that pocket camp is shutting down. Thank you, animal crossing, for your virtual hugs, support and for reminding me to go outside and love the little things in life.

Thank you for uploading this, I'm currently writing up my ECA for critical thinking in psychology and it's been hard to get my brain motivated and focused and this helps a lot. I'm autistic and sometimes I struggle with executive dysfunction so it's hard for me to do things even when I really want too. This soothes my brain. I wish this was real and everyone including the uploader could all sit down in The Roost during a rainy fall, it would be a nice community of people, either resting or catching up on work. I feel like we'd all be friends. Maybe somewhere in an alternative universe that's true :). This song remembers me of the summers I spent playing animal crossing in my hometown, home, sorrounded by books in 4 languages(okay, they were only 3 languages, but Maths counts like a language for me😂) and by a Nintendo switch. Soo whenever I want to focus, think on something or remember home, I put this on. Thank you❤
