I love how Gok insists on trying other dresses before making the final decision, on some of the other shows they tend to kinda pressure the bride to take the first or second dress and get it over with..

What I really like about Lancashire salon is that auntie Gok and assistants really take care of the brides and the styles could suits them, offering options based on the girls and what are expressing with stronger energy. Also the selections, styles, support and budgets are so respected and the vibes are lovely and positive. This is what the show should be worldwide and not the hunting budgets we've seen as David Emmanuel or Pnina Tornai; not mention of the brides who literally massacre budgets for an expensive dress because assistants are unable to show the nice dresses respecting that aspect and allow pathetic immature shows for commissions or the toxic interventions made by false friends or jealous entourages. Thanks Gok, for showing what real effort and care can do when there's authentic professionals doing the job.

I agree. I like Gok more than the New York show. Have you watched the Curvy Brides Boutique with Jo & Al? These two wonderfully compassionate ladies help larger women. I wish I had someone like them 34 years ago when I got married. There wasn't any choice for plus size & what there was was mostly not very tasteful. They don't talk price either.
Gok has really the most beautiful dresses to offer the brides!!
And they are always fitted with pins, not clamps!

The dresses! Wow! They all looked beautiful on the bride. The dress she chose was prefect for her. Me, I’d have done #2. That’s more my style, although I would prefer a column dress.
Anyway, I love all the stylists, but I’d love to be Gok’s bestie. He is genuinely interested in making sure the brides are happy. He’s so positive and generous and by being his bestie I could very much give that back to him.
I think Gok is the best! Nothing like someone adding such tender loving care and wanting the bride to feel her best and finding that perfect wedding dress.
Mom realizing every time that her daughter is beautiful in every dress is the cutest thing. She's like "wait but she looks perfect. NO NOW SHE LOOKS PERFECT. WAIT HOLD ON" it's pure and I adore it.
However I cannot stop looking at the 3 different styles she has going on in her hair? Idk. Reminds me of when I used to do my own hair for school when I was 12.

Well I loved the first dress in this video, I think it looked best out of the two we saw. Both are amazing and she looked incredible in both. GOK truly has the best taste, he turns even frumpy women(this girl is in no way frumpy) into beautiful brides. That man is the best of the lot in my opinion.

As a mother I can't understand intervening in whatever my child wants to wear for *their* wedding (not that this mum did)! They're an adult. I taught them to dress themselves when they were children. My job is done. We get to be friends now :)
There were episodes when the wedding was in a religious setting, and the bride needed a little reminder of the dress code. _No dear, the rabbi WASN'T joking when he said arms and shoulders must be covered!_ Other than that...

I know these are newer than most of the other SYTTD clips on TH-cam, but the Lancashire dresses are lightyears ahead of the other stores. Kudos to whoever orders their stock.
