Alicent's children who were in the Dragonpit are Aegon (the oldest, a boy) and Aemond (also a boy). Her daughter Helaena probably has claimed her dragon by now, in the book, she claimed Dreamfyre, one of the older dragons (and possibly the mother of Daenerys' dragons) at the age of 12 or 13. Alicent and Viserys had a fourth child, Daeron, who is being fostered in Oldtown with Otto Hightower's brother and family, has not yet been mentioned and may not appear in the series.

Rhaenyra's oldest child is named Jacaerys. "Jaehaerys" was the name of her great-grandfather, King Jaehaerys the Wise, one of the most successful Targaryen kings.
Technically, Viserys Targaryen is not only the King, but the head of House Targaryen, and, as such, he has the final word on who his children will marry, not his wife. Viserys should have had the guts to overrule Alicent and forge ahead with the betrothal of their daughter Helaena with Viserys' grandson Jacaerys, but Viserys rarely opts for confrontation...
Alicent's my favorite. WE are here to support womens wrongs! I do think Alicent is very nurturing towards Viserys despite also being kinda grossed out by him. Like from their first interaction, she's been taking care of him.
I think Alicent does have sort of a parallel to Cersei in that she was basically used as currency by her father and turned into a broodmare, in her words, by both her father and husband. Left them both hardened. Though they seem to have responded differently to it in the ways they treat other people.
I would like to say Rhaenyra seems a bit more like Cersei than compared to Alicent. She has three bastards like Cersei, both sleep with members of the kingsguard, sleeps with family members and kids named Joffrey lol not to mention that threatened people with mutilation or death if people say their kids are bastards.

I am biased when it comes to stupid characters like Rhaneyra and like u said "Her children are bastards, the sexist society have always hated the idea of bastards. Of course they are gonna hate them no matter what" so y in hell did she think that
1. having bastards was a good idea.
2. putting the first bastards on the iron throne.
3. while being the first female heir
"Luke was going to be killed" how? please explain that logic? Luke didnt want the throne Rhaenyra is till forcing her son same as Alicent with Aegon? how they view their mothers doesnt change the fact that both kids are doing something that their parents are forcing them into.
Of course Rt is a better mother than to Alicent because her entire job for 6 years was staying on an island giving birth and raising her kids who couldnt escape her and she had 3 fathers for her kids lol
Alicent is a grey characater Rhaneyra isnt. She literally advocates torture and death to anyone who speaks the truth to her children, made everyone believe she killed her first husband, marries a man who killed his first wife, who is not allowed in the vale which is one of the six kingdoms that she will rule, and had a guard killed to fake laenor death.
Rt is a good at one thing being a mom and as an heir she was terrible n since she was a terrible heir she would be a terrible queen.

She was forced to do that by her father. It’s not really her fault as she is a woman in a medieval society.

This is the episode where I instantly became Team Green and was against Rhaenyra. 3 obvious bastard kids creates nothing but problems for her entire reign. She lives in a medieval sexist society and she didn’t think to stop after the 1st child…..TRUTH DOES NOT MATTER ONLY PERCEPTION…..Apparently Rt didn’t hear that part lol
If I was the King I would have disinherit her after the 3rd child and name Aegon heir and marry one of daemon daughter to Aegon. Both Otto and Corlys get their blood on the Iron Throne and Rhaenyra can live her life however she wants with her kids.
10 years every bastard is a slap to Alicent and Criston face. Rt knows by sleeping with Harwin is risking his life and their children lives…..I honestly wouldn’t trust Rt if I was Criston and Alicent.

And whose fault was it that Rhaenyra had to produce children other than Laenor's? It was Viserys who commanded Rhaenyra to marry a young man who could not father children with her. It was Laenor's parents who didn't tell Viserys that their son preferred men. And it was also Viserys who impressed on Rhaenyra the importance of producing heirs to solidify her position as heir to the Iron Throne. Viserys should have forced the High Septon to annul the marriage of Daemon and Rhea on grounds of non-consummation and then permitted Daemon to marry Rhaenyra.

The king should not have married Daemon to Rt because the whole point of daemon being disinherited as heir was because he wouldn’t sit on the iron throne.
Alicent really became worse than her father, she literally used her privilege as queen to flaunt her power by ubusing it against rhaenrya for 10 years at court like look Alicent is a victim but she became the abuser because she was still stuck in the past hurt while rhaenrya moved on who had her own family to worry about like seriously but yet her stans believes she did nothing wrong even during her demanding a vulnerable woman who had just given birth to give up her baby to a hostile bitter woman who she doesn’t trust so for Stan’s to call rhaenrya stupid or dramatic for taking her newborn herself is wild to me , alicent sat up for 10 years to bully , shame , antagonize rhaenrya who she believes will murder her children once she ascends the throne like really alicent? Rhaenyra commited high treason by making everyone believe her children are legitimate. And Viserys can't recognize that they are bastards in public so he is supporting her lies. And if Jacaerys ever take the throne, that would make him a usurper.Alicent is absolutely right here.

To be legetimized they need a paper from the king attesting that they were bastards who are now velaryons like it was done with Ramsey. Comparing Alicent to Cercei or any other character to what's already been shown in GOT is a straight insult to the writers of the show as well as GRRM himself.

Totally get your opinion. I can have my own. I love Cercei and I enjoy Alicent’s character. Having not seen the show before or read the books, I’m allowed to speculate my opinions, the same way you felt the need to criticize me without knowing where I stand :)
