Tex Hoy and Cory Hall are huge misses for Cas. They have been improving in recent weeks. I've been very impressed with Hall, when fit, and Hoy is crucial. If they had those two I'd say this might just be a banana skin for you, but not as things stand. We have a good chance of beating Wigan and Hull KR, you know. All it needs is for half their players to forget the way to their own grounds and their satnavs to go on the blink.
Yes, with Saints, Wigan and Leeds all reporting losses last year, the game as a whole is not in a strong position. Elsewhere, Whitehaven's existential problems may be partly of their own making, but Halifax are a generally well run and honest sort of club, which declined to spend money recklessly, trying to buy themselves back into Superleague. With the big clubs (I mean financially) Covid loan repayments were a factor, and are continuing to be this year, but that's not the whole story. These are difficult times, even for well-supported clubs. I'm sure what you say about Saints' shirt marketing is valid, but I'm not sure there's really much more money to be made from supporters iben these hard times. I wonder how Ryan Hall will work out? He's not just been signed as a player on a 1-year deal, but thereafter for a permanent full time job raising extra business sponsorship for the club. How much of that is available at present and will a famous player of the "golden generation" be able to get more of it than someone nobody's heard of? Ryan Hall is a bright guy, but hmm ... I dunno. Anyway, that's not until 2026 and it looks like we (as well as other clubs) need that sort of thing now, not in 2 years' time. Barnstorming try-scorer as he still is I'd rather look to youngsters like Alfie Edgell and Riley Lumb for points whilst seeing what Hall can do for £s.
Boys ; you cant half twist things. Kendal was at the incident. he actually SAW LEES COMING. He didnt move. He shouted at Lees not to run in and raiseda waring finger at him. Please listen to the audio. Following the push he remonstrated with Lees and said I warned you not to run in.
@@redveetv I am not sure the narrative of the disciplinary meets your narrative in any way ! I think you said that they said he didnt mean to do it. Reading minds now.
Gutted about Sione at his best he is brilliant. To look good at times under this current coaching staff takes some doing aswell 😏

The Lees incident was worse than the Bevan French incident last season against Leigh, but French still got a ban🤷♂️

To be honest I can't say either Batch or Whitley have performed better than Royle this season.
Royle looked good in the 2 minute spell Wellens gave him 🤦♂️ I feel sorry for him.. especially if Davies gets another deal
@@creativeartist83 I don't see how Davies can get another deal tbh
