Ammeters are connected in series, so their resistance value is kept low enough because in series they measure the current passing through them so low resistance helps ammeter to detect the accurate value of current. so we can say Ammeter should have low resistance so that it doesn't change the main current in the circuit 🤔
If the resistance kept high..the overall resistance of circuit will be high that will lead to less current flow .and will decrease current..so to not change the current we will keep resistance of ammeter always low..
If the voltmeter has low resistance then we can't calculate accurate value of voltage because current flows easily from low resistance and in case of voltmeter if current flows easily then it couldn't give the accurate value of voltage that's why the voltmeter is used at high resistance. As we can see in the formula-- V=IR V is directly proportional to R. Sir, I tried to explain it. If i didn't explain correctly then please reply me. Thank you
Bhai good explanation , isme thoda sa addtion karna padega apko bas V is directly proportional to I hota hai and R ki value contant hoti , Voltmeter 2 points ke bich ka potential difference btata hai , isliye ham ye chahte hai ki voltmeter se kam se kam current flow ho ( High ressistance high hone ki wajh se voltmeter se least current flow hoga) taki voltmeter ke across hame without voltage drop sahi value mile ,agar iska ressitance kagi low hoga tu sara potential drop voltmeter me hi ho jayega aur load par voltage milega hi nhi 😇
