You and heather are so respectful of the everyone where you video graves. It’s nice when you see there’s still decent people leff
That was a huge place to document. It is not surprising you ran out of time. You did a good job
When you were in the older part that was more overgrown & unkempt I wondered how many unmarked graves there might be.
Beautiful countryside, and cemeteries. Thank you very much Leo and Heather, for all your efforts in documenting these cemeteries, before nature finally claims them. Have a great day 😊
Thank you, Leo and Heather. It's very nice and thoughtful of you both . God bless you, you're a precious Couple ❤🤗
Leo, you are a storyteller (historian) and a philosopher. Thank you and Heather for what you do. Your efforts belong in an archive.
What a gorgeous day! Thank you for saying their names, they won’t have a second death.❤
Hi 👋 Leo and Heather. Once again you knocked it out of the park. So good of you to go to all this for these lost families
Seeing the childrens headstones SHOULD make us appreciate how lucky we are. God bless those children.
Leo please do a part 2
i hope you do a part 2
Leo you need to come to Columbus so we can hit the river and catch some of those huge catfish. I’m in a wheelchair but I can do whatever I want I just have no legs lol
I’ve never heard that saying before Leo. “It’s not the dates that matter. It’s the dash in between “ Very profound. Thanks for sharing this. I will not forget these words ❤
Dave Evans Bluegrass " The line in between"
Lovely little cemetery!! I really enjoy these adventures 😊
Hey 👋 everyone 🤗
Indiana checking in.
Hello Leo and Heather 😁
Good Afternoon a Leo
Wonderful people, my kind of people, I'm an old hillbilly and so proud of it. ❤
It's great to have doumentation and research to pull these locations together to have them documented for those who will eventually be looking.
In this video I saw my birthday on a stone and I saw my last name on a stone but the thought that resonated in my mind was when you pointed out that gentleman's "spot" next to his wife. To look at just a spot on the ground and know that someday that is your spot reminds you of how human you really are! Another good video guys and a part 2 is always welcome
Hey, love a new video tour and stories of the people. I love learning their names and seeing these places. Thanks to you two!
Nice walk on a fine Fall day . Loving your travels and adventures. What a beautiful, peaceful little cemetery. 🙏 With your calm voice , you seem to show silent respect for each persons name you read. . You are a good man, Leo. 😊 God Bless 🙏 Hey Heather 👋
What a beautiful part of WV! The view is incredible. I am so glad that you located this old cemetery. I wonder if it is a private or public cemetery? There are some really old graves in Rawl Cemetery. Seeing children's graves always make me sad. Thank you for documenting the people buried here.
❤😊❤ Great one Leo and Heather! Love you both. God bless!
WOW, Leo and Heather, that was awesome. I never knew it till the 1950 census came out but my parents and my oldest brother lived in Rawl. The census didn't even have a house number, it just said Rawl camp, Happy hill, second house on hill and my dad as a coal miner. I was down there a year ago and drove back in there to see if anything was left but there wasn't much to see. I can only imagine what it looked like in 1950. Thanks for the video, I always enjoy seeing things from West Virgina. Oh, and I was born in the Williamson Memorial Hospital and my parents moved to Michigan in 1955, I was only one year old.
When I was a kid, we lived on Happy Hill for a little while.
Great video, love your research Heather. Thanks
That is so amazing, Marla D. Fouch was my sister in law. Her and my brother divorced several years before she passed away.
I was unaware of the Sears headstone. I used to live in a Sears and Roebuck home. It was stamped on the main beam in the basement. Great video!
I too lived in a house from Sears. It was a kit.
@@debbiesnavely4676 Ours was too. Thanks for the reply. I've never met anyone else that has lived in a kit home from Sears.
LEO I KNEW YOU & HEATHER DID A VIDEO WITH THE VANCE FAMILY & I WAS WONDERING IF THAT WAS THE SAME FAMILY AS OUR FUTURE VICE PRESIDENT J D VANCE. THEN I SAW VIDEO OF HIM DOWN THERE @ A FAMILY REUNION. WAY TO HO YOU GUYS MAKES ME EVEN MORE PROUD TO KNOW HE ISN'T ASHAMED OF BEING A HILLBILLY. ❤
We did a short about it. Yes, they are related.
Hello Leo I just came across ur channel and I subscribed! My father grew up in Red Jacket. Have you done any filming of cemeteries in that area. He was adopted by Alvin stanley. His father I think was James Vaughn. Dad’s name was Ples. Thank you for what you do it’s so interesting and beautiful country.
Another great video, Leo! Have you ever used dowsing rods to help locate suspected graves?
Maybe you could enter the GPS coordinance so people could find their relatives. Thanks for your time and effort, Leo.
I think theres alot of interesting stories there😮😊
Faith Collins maiden name Petrie was my mothers maiden name and even here in Cumbria UK it isn’t a very popular name but it was so nice to see it come up 😻😻🥰🥰🇬🇧
