How to Think About Soccer

Soccer, and tactics in soccer, are thought about differently by everyone. Models are a useful way to group ideas together in order to explain and explore ideas. The main reason for this video is that in the future I would like to discuss different models for thinking about different things in soccer. So when I refer to something as a "model", it doesn't mean that I'm trying to state an objective fact about soccer. I'm just exploring ideas and ways of thinking about different aspects within the game. Sometimes these models can even contradict, but that's part of the complex game of soccer.
